My kids bought this for my wife for Mother's Day. She has really enjoyed it and uses it constantly. Her only knock was that sometimes a text or email does not transmit to her watch. It's not all the time, but happens sporadically. This has been a good purchase for her first smart watch.

So way cheaper than an Apple watch but has some of the same features.

I have used this device to track my steps, bike rides, swims, and so much more. It also alerts me of text messages, FB updates, and Twitter. LOVE IT!

This is the kind of item that you don't really need but at about $90 it's fun to have. A lot of people have asked if it is an Apple watch to which I reply "no but it is a fraction of the price!"

If you're looking for a device comparable to the Samsung Gear, then this product is definitely not for you. The gear offers a lot more, but is much more expensive as well. At the price you pay (around $150), this is a great little device to have as a companion to your phone. It's pretty durable(just make sure you get a screen protector), waterproof, and the battery life is excellent. There are some very useful apps that you don't need your phone for; like Yelp or the swimming lap counter, but if there was one thing I wish the pebble could do...is to be used as a standalone running watch. The device must have some sort of 3D accelerometer, and if it can be used for swimming, why not running? I run a lot, and not having to bring my phone with me would be really helpful. A Nike+ running app needs to be added also.

This watch is amazing. I bought it for my brother for his birthday, He loves it. His job makes it an inconvenience to check his phone often, so this solved his problem 100%. It vibrates as an alarm or when someone is calling/text. It is waterproof over 100 feet. You can even play games such as snake. The battery lasts at least 5 days. Not bulky. Can change songs. One thing I wish it did was change volume of music of your phone. But overall, it is amazing at a great price.

for the money, a great basic smartwatch. Doesn't have all the bells and whistles, but if you want notifications on your wrist, it can't be beat.

I always have my phone on vibrate or in my back pack. My family and friends ALWAYS get mad at me for not answering or for taking too long to text. There is a LOT of other cool features as well.

Got this for my mom. She loves it. It's not to hard to work.

I had been interested in smartwatches but wasn't really sure they were ready as a technology yet. But when I started using Pebble I quickly realized it was a great device. I often miss notifications like for a new text message or meeting reminder when my phone is on vibrate only and I'm walking around. But since the notifications showed up on my wrist with a vibration I knew immediately that I received something. It is very easy to use and setup and works great.

Easily charges and lasts for days. A very good looking watch!

The pebble is a nice watch. It feels like a TI calculator on your wrist, with additional functions. The pebble is a pretty decent size, but it could be a bit more elegant and tidy. The strap isn't so great. It's decent, but a replacement strap may be better suited for this.

Great smart watch, if you are looking for something like the galaxy smartwatch this is not the product for you. This is for notifications and checking basic stuff on your smartphone. I use this because I'm always on the go I do repairs so not having to take my phone out and just look at my wrist has been extremely helpfull. There is some new apps that allows you to answer your phone if you have a Bluetooth headset attached . With smartwatch they are always upgrading so who knows what will be available next. Again is you are looking for a touch screen watch that you can play games and take pictures with this is not the product for you

The original Pebble does everything it claims to do! And thanks to the great development comunity the Pebble can do even more! Deffinetly worth the price! Must have for any IT enthusiast!

I really love my Pebble. I bought it on a whim, hoping to see what it was like and being slightly unsure. I've grown to love it over the few weeks that I've owned it. It actually helps me be less attached to my phone as I can set it down or put it on silent and continue to know what is going on without having to constantly pick it up. Apps like RunKeeper really show what is possible with the watch, and I'm looking forward to the 2.0 SDK that is supposed to show up soon. I would love to try it with an Android device as I hear that the more lax restrictions on Android allow for deeper integration. All in all, if you are a tech savvy individual and want notifications - this is great. It does notifications right, and I think that something that you can't say about the other smartwatches.

I really wanted a Pebble to get Caller ID and Texts on the watch so that I didn't have to take my phone out. It does this very well. I thought I'd get all of this capability through apps for the watch and there really isn't much that's worth the effort. I have one that shows the time and date large as well as the current temp (outside temp from internet forecast). It requires an app called httpebble to always be running for the temp to show and even then becomes un-synced regularly. The watch needs to be restarted more often than you'd expect too. But I'm not negative. I got it for two main functions and it does these well.

The e-ink display is always easy to read even in bright daylight. The battery lasts about 2 days on a single charge. I was in the dentist chair and got a text message and instead of having to dig for my phone, I just glanced at my watch and could tell weather or not the message was important. It is also nice to have the weather and my google calendar events for the day right on my wrist. It may not be a dick tracy watch, but it suits my needs perfectly.

Had no problems with set up and found it very easy to use.
