I have wanted this watch since the day it was announced on Kickstarter and I am so happy I finally have one! I love showing it off to my friends and it's so useful on a daily basis! I would definitely recommend buying this watch!

    Wasted my time

Received my Pebble as a gift about a month ago. My wife was very excited to purchase this item for me since I am a little hard to shop for but love watches (have over 25 in my collection now). When I opened it I thought it was pretty nice, it connected easily after downloading the app to my phone and a few minor glitches fixed. It does however drain my HTC One phone and has issues with overtaking my Bluetooth devices. I have since read other reviews of people having similar issues. For now it will be added to my collection and I will go back to my Ipod with the watch conversion band. I can't do everything I want on it but it looks similar and doesn't mess with my other devices. Nice try but this thing needs to go back to the drawing board! I would get a new one IF it was in color, had more app compatibility, and maybe came with more than just one band. I like variety!

Would pass till all kinks/faulty watches are fixed

Nice watch, but... wow customer service is junk. If your returning it to the company that MADE this produce then good luck with getting a response from them anytime soon. It takes them about 2 months to respond to you if you get a faulty watch. There are plenty of issues with this watch. Screen dies/is skewed, watch dies out of nowhere, screen scratches really easily, buttons may fall off, don't always get notification sent to watch, yellowing of screen, random lines appear on screen, when charging the cable might fall off or not even work, and the worst of all is that the watch might be broken right out of the box!!! .... this list can go on and on. BUYER BEWARE! I would suggest getting best buys warranty so when something does go wrong, because it eventually will, you can just take it back to best buy and get a immediate replacement. ... Otherwise don't count on sending the watch back to the pebble watch company because you wont hear from them anytime soon.

    Not ready for retail

This is a disposable (cannot be opened by anyone, for any reason, can only be replaced) smartwatch made with cheap materials, and with a record of problems, including complete bricking, screen failure, and universally-cheap watch crystal that scratches if you breathe on it. Have a customer service question? Well, good luck with that. Pebble takes weeks, sometimes months, to answer inquiries. Pebble has very limited functionality with iPhones. It simply doesn't do half the things it's supposed to do, and there's no light at the end of the iOS tunnel. If you can get over those basic problems, it's a fun parlor-trick kind of gadget that will tell you the temperature and time, will alert you to SMS and incoming calls, and has a working alarm feature. It's fun, but it has the potential to drive a normal person crazy with frustration when any problem or question arises. Simply put, the Pebble isn't ready for mass-marketing. The idea is terrific; the execution---ah, it all comes down to the execution, doesn't it, Eric?

    NOT iPhone 4 Compatible

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

In spite of what is posted on the website, this product was very limited compatibility for iPhone 4 due to the use of Bluetooth LE. Notifications for email and texts, as well as notification-based apps, will NOT work with iPhone 4. The product will allow music control and caller ID, but calling the item iPhone 4 compatible is misleading at best.

DOA out of the Box, no number for tech support

What a disappointment! Waited in line for an hour outside of Best Buy to get one of the five units the store received on Sunday. Get it in the car, pair it to my phone and the screen works four about four minutes and then completely blank. Buttons still work, but thats it. No number for Pebble support, forums are moderately helpful Email to pebble not returned after 24 hours. Returned to Best Buy today for refund. From what I can tell in the forums, there are a lot of DOA units with mechanical problems..... Not such a big deal if BB has inventory to replace it or you could at least call Pebble. My advise.... wait until the company is stabilized to buy or see what the competition from Apple or others looks like. Very disappointed with the folks at Pebble. This had a lot of promise.

Bought this for my son, and he has not taken it off since he got it for Christmas, it gave him all the reminders he needed to be successful in High School without pulling out his phone as to not get in trouble.

They sell broken products. Support great, NOT

How it is possible to sell product which is not finished. So many of them have serious issues...Support... I am still waiting and they sent me some instruction how to repair it ... gues what, it does not work still...I am still waiting for return authorization form ... broken model from beginning, screen sucks, can`t even use as a regular watch. Deeply disappointed...Worst is that Best Buy does not want to help me, I have been told to deal with not existing (in my opinion) company - Pebble. Looks like Pebble has only one person for support. With such a big number of broken watches I will have to wait year for any response ... Guaranty is only for one year so problem will be solved till that time....

I enjoy my watch for what it is, a fun toy that i have to figure out how to use on my own, i guess something like Linux. Its an okay looking watch, it fits a particular style and its a little bulky. Luckily I have a jailbroken iPhone that allows me to get all the notifications i want and not have to deal with the work around the Pebble created to get notifications off the iPhone and onto their watch. Everything on the watch is made possible through back doors in iOS6 that Pebble has exploited to give the watch its functionality. As long as you understand that going into a purchase than you'll be somewhat satisfied. I would recommend this to someone after iOS7 comes out but buy that point the iWatch might be out so maybe best to wait and see what Apple and possibly Google have to offer.

Great idea, but in no way ready for market - buggy

This will be returned to Best buy this week. I've been waiting for this for a long time, now I have it I am sadly disappointed. Mechanically it is great but the software is lacking. The support is full of FAQ's that state "we are aware of this and are currently talking to Apple / working on a solution" Connectivity - iPhone shutdown the app quite often. The support answer is to keep reconnecting Email notification - currently does not work, they are trying to get it working Call notification - caller ID does not work, no solution. Some call don't show up at all Text notification - intermittent, some don't make it to the phone. Maybe this is apples fault but either way Best Buy are selling a product that simply is not ready for market. It is buggy, it doesn't always work. I should be able to get caller ID and emails on the watch. That is the whole point! You cannot do either of these things and no date for it to work! Sorry Best Buy, this is a great idea, but poorly implemented and not ready.

    Bad Battery

This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

I initially liked the watch. I started having problems with it staying hooked up with Bluetooth. I was constantly having to go to the app and hook up several times a day. Then the battery started running low. Now it can't keep a charge through one day. Kind of worthless to put on a watch for just a few hours and then have to recharge it. Sadly I went back to my cheap Casio.

While I love the functions, I cannot recommend this as a watch. My 4 month old unit is so badly scratched, I have a hard time wearing or using it. Consider this a toy...
