    Terrible

Nice idea but fails miserably due to connection dropping. First day connection dropped a few times, didn't think much of it. Next day played golf. Connection would drop 3-10 times per hole, even with phone in my pocket thinking 15 feet from cart might be problem. Phone is not problem as I have hearing aids and my Streamer Pro NEVER drops connection. Might be OK if the Pebble would automatically re-connect but it won't, you have to open the app click "cancel" then "connect". Then that lasts for 30 seconds to maybe 2 minutes...

    Dead Pebble Lasted 4 months

I had the Pebble for 3 months worked great then one day it went blank... now it wont do anything can't even get it to charge. It was a gift so I can't return... guess I will wait for Apple's reliable version to come out. I saw another review about a dead Pebble after jogging, mine died after biking. I work in the electronics field so I know how electronics are environmentally tested. I suspect no reliability tests were done here because of costs environmental tests are expensive for a startup and a lot of times they are minimized or skipped at the cost of product quality. Unfortunately it appears that moisture sensitivity was not tested on the pebble and the product is not ready for release. Again I would wait for Apple's watch, it may be vaporware now but at least I am not disappointed with it.

Great watch but Pebble has gone out of business

I own an original Pebble and a Pebble Time. I use the original for recreation and wear the Time for business. I've been very satisfied with both. I was thinking of upgrading to the new pebble with the HR monitor but I received and email from Pebble stating they were no longer in business. These watches should be selling for about 25% of their original price.

    Not ready for primetime.

If your are an iPhone user, stay clear of this product. While the company promises that it is compatible with iOS, that is more of a pipe dream. Receiving phone notifications on the Pebble is, at best, erratic, mostly, not at all. Battery life is maybe 2 days - far from the promised 7+ days. Support is VERY poor and, when you do hear something, it is always 'we know there is a problem and are working on it.' I recommend you save your money and wait for a product that actually works. I just wish I'd ignore the Pebble people and returned the watch within the 15 day window. Sigh....

    Good Concept bad execution

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

The concept of this watch is nice but it fails in it's execution. The Pebble pairs with your phone just fine when you purchase it but mine lost connectivity to my phone overnight. I was unable to pair it again afterwards and I ended up taking it back to the store. For the price they charge for the watch this should be flawless. Hopefully they continue to work on this watch and fix all the bugs. They really need to drop the price $50 as well. $150 is a little steep for this watch. The build quality is ok but seems very plasticky almost toyish.

    Another screen issue

Waited at the door to get one of only three pebbles in the store. It worked for an hour then the screen went blank. The message tests from the phone would activate the watch vibration but could not see anything on its face. Had to return to the store and was very irritated to find out that they were out of all the watches because a best buy employee purchased the last one. Had so much hope for the device but the failure rate seems pretty high.

Bluetooth Chip Quickly Fails NO SUPPORT WHATSOEVER

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

My bluetooth chip failed after I had my pebble for a little over two months, and sent some emails to support about it (which on average took a week or more for them to respond to). They responded saying they thought it was software, which I quickly showed was not true and that it was related to the bluetooth chip hardware failing, at which point they completely ceased communication with me. STAY AWAY from this product until they get proper support, this is a very CHEAPLY MADE product that should not be mass produced yet, and buying one now will put you at risk of having a simple dumb watch in a few months with no way of getting your issue resolved.

    Waste of your Money!!!!

Purchased this watch did not last 1 year before it locked up and will not connect to my Bluetooth! Their Customer Support is the worst I have ever dealt with totally useless, and absolutely no Phone Support. The So Called Customer Support keeps sending the same canned response over and over again, just wasting my time. This watch is now in the GARBAGE where it belongs....I have 2 Android watches 1 Asus and 1 Huawei which I use most of the time with no problems, I only used the Pebble maybe once or twice a week and still would not last a year!!!!!

    not ready for prime time

The product does not work as set forth in the company marketing or at all after a while. The watch needs a serious re-design or the product quality testing at the factory is flawed or primitive at best or Pebble Co. needs to go back to the drawing board. The customer service is seriously flawed as well. They apologize if, after repeated attempts you are persistent enough to get through (they have no phone number). They say they are being overwhelmed. What does that say about their watches? Do you think Rolex customer service is being overwhelmed, or Samsung, or Apple?

    No support

It's a great watch EXCEPT that pebble has been sold and basically disbanded. Their servers have been cleared so no apps work and there is no support or plans for new apps. So if you want a nice looking digital watch, that is all you'll get with this, no interface at all. It would be nice if the sellers would all be upfront about that to begin with instard of trying to pawn off excess useless inventory.

    Arrived DOA

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

My Pebble arrived DOA. It seemed to have a defect from the manufacturing process that led to the screen being blank, with the occasional black line. I promptly returned it to best buy only to be told that I couldn't get a replacement device because they were now sold out. That was 2 weeks ago and the watch is still sold out. I have decided I won't be buying another pebble and will wait a bit for one of the major manufacturers who know what they are doing to come out with a watch.

Couldn't give this a "zero" rating which it richly deserved. Nicely packaged and all but totally Dead on Arrival. Hooked up to charger and nothing... Sent an email to Pebble tech support and nothing... Posted a message in Pebble tech forum and nothing... Ah, should I return it and get another one or wait for someone to produce something that actually works? Wonder if Best Buy will expect me to pay for return shipping on this tiny brick.

    Useless music feature

I hate this watch. The Bluetooth music feature is useless. Music crackles in and out. Not useful for listening to music for jog or run. Very disappointed. Useless support. Even sent a link to me regarding my music queries that didn't work. Sad and disappointing watch. What good is wireless music feature for a workout if you have to carry your phone too? Worst online purchase in decade. Waste of money for me.

BOUGHT IN CALIFORNIA ON FRIDAY EVEN THOUGH THEY SAID IT WAS COMING OUT SUNDAY. IT LASTED 5 MINUTES AND THE SCREEN STARTED BLINKING AND THEN IT WENT DEAD. TRIED 20 OTHER STORES IN CALI AND THEY HAD NONE. WHAT WAS THE PURPOSE OF TELLING PEOPLE THEY WERE IN STOCK WHEN ACTUALLY THERE WERE ONLY A FEW AVAILABLE THROUGHOUT THE COUNTRY. THINK THEY WERE AFRAID WHEN THEY HEARD APPLE WAS GETTING A PATENT FOR A SMARTWATCH.

I got that smart watch last month and that was not working properly. I tried to contact them, but no contact address or phone. they just have an email that never reply. I tried to return watch on the address they shipped but that was a shipping company!!! That's super strange. after a month, they did reply and said return policy is just for 30 days!!!!! I don't recommended at all.

I was first in line to get it at Best Buy. I used it for about 2 hours when the screen went blank. I could tell that the watch was still on because the link still worked between the watch and my phone. I tried everything to get it to work but ultimately returned it. I think the watch is a great idea but Pebble had bad execution. I guess I'll wait for Apple's version.

I've got the Pebble out of the box, and configured it in minutes. 10 minutes later, the display starts flashing. I go online, and I see hundreds of people with this same problem. The quality of this product is completely subpar. I will not buy anything from this company ever again.

Did not work with my phone

I received the Pebble and charged it over night. When I tried to connect it to my Pantech 9070 Burst running Android 4.0.4 (Ice Cream) it would not pair correctly and therefore would not work. In all fairness the manufactures website does say it is fully compatible with Android 4.1 and may or not work with versions oldr thanthat.
