I bought this watch to track my runs with Runkeeper. It does a great job with that. The only improvement I would make on that front is to make it so you can choose the specific aspects of your workout you want to monitor. It chooses the main three and I am not able to monitor my heart rate. Even though I would prefer a color screen, the black and white screen is quite adequate. What it does, it does fast without lag. I only wish there were a larger variety of apps. There seems to be about a million watch faces. From my overall impression, there seems to be less than 10 other kinds of apps. They have a sleep monitor, 7 minute workout (which is very good!), and a note app that seems to suffer some compatibility issues and maybe some others that didn't seem too useful to me. In IOS there are things you can't control from your watch. You can't dismiss and/or snooze alerts. The watch seems only to receive data from the phone but can't do much in the area of returning data to the phone. I've heard rumors that Apple will come out with a smart watch next year. My plan is to use this until then and then get the iWatch.

I've followed pebble closely since it's days as a Kickstarter and I just recently received one for my birthday. I like using it from day to day. It's well worth the money in my opinion there. The only real downside I've found is that there aren't many apps out yet for it, but I'm sure eventually it will not be a problem.

Best smart watch on the planet. Great battery life, easy to use, slightly weak processor but great for a watch.

Excellent purchase. Compatible with all operating systems, thousands of apps/watch faces and the best battery life (about a full week!) In summary does what it says and more. It's not the latest and greatest but considering that it was launched several years ago it awesome.

When I first got this watch for my birthday, I easily set up everything. 5-7 day battery life, bluetooth connection, pebble apps, waterproof. I've had this watch for about a month or so now, and it's given me no problems with good care. Love showing it off to my friends and family! I take showers with it and change the channel on my ipod sitting outside the shower!

I bought the pebble for my boyfriend for a gift. He is a plumber and works great for when he has incoming calls during the day while working and the phone is in his pocket. He can see who's calling and if he needs to answer before stopping what he's doing to pull the phone out of his pocket. I will say the first one we had to return after a week because it wouldn't take a charge, but no problems out of the 2nd one. I am a firm believer in buying a warranty.

Good You don't have to reach into your pocket to see who is calling. That's especially handy when you are sitting down in a meeting and your pockets are as full as mine. You have the option to send the call to voicemail from your watch if the call isn't urgent. Bad Setting alarms requires a bit too many button presses. In fairness, I'm not sure how you would fix this with the four buttons available. Maybe a double press or pressing two at once.

With outstanding and crisp paper ink display and battery lasting 7 days easily, tons of watch faces and apps for every user customization. Could not ask for more. Would definetly recommend for everyone.

I have really enjoyed my Pebble because I can get all of my notifications at a glance on my wrist instead of having to open my phone. It is especially helpful when I'm in a meeting or driving around town.

I purchased this when I bought a new smartphone. As phones get larger and thinner, it has become a little sketchy to carry them in a back jeans pocket. At work I deal with customers, carry pens and box cutters, etc., etc. I got the Pebble so I could get messages from kids, mom, and other co-workers, I can even reply! I use the UP app to keep track of steps, alarm clock, control music from my phone. I can also check the weather. There are plenty of other apps to choose from. Plus (its a big one) It's water resistant, I can swim with it, take a shower. I am really happy with my purchase.

I bought this watch for my boyfriend, and he loves it. It's easy to use, charge, and customize.

only need charge once a week. comfortable long band for larger wrists. my favorite feature is the alarm. wake by vibration. sometimes i need to sleep with ear plugs and worry about hearing a audible alarm. The vibration alarm wakes me with out any problems.

I wanted a smartwatch so that I can quickly view a notification before grabbing my phone (comes in handy when I'm busy). I also enjoy that it is waterproof (I shower with it on) and it has a nice, simple, and customizable interface that is easy to use.

If you're looking for buzzers, bells, color, interactive wrist dazzle, this is not the watch for you. The Pebble does little more than display time, incoming call notifications and texts for iPhone users. It's a good watch to use while waiting for Apple to release their smart watch or for someone who doesn't want or need more options and functions.

The Apple Watch enthusiasm got me to buy this. Similar notification system for 1/3 the price.

When I saw this watch and how simple it is, I had to have it and I've had this for over a year now. However, after a year it starts to glitch on me and that is disappointing. It would blur out or the screen would have these lines like back in the day when we still use the box TV and some times there are these black and white lines that we have to hit the back of the TV to get it working again. It's like that with this watch now and then and it sucks because it requires pressing buttons or even power it off and on to try to resolve it. I'm disappointed in this. I do love the simplicity in this because I only need it for notifications and it does just that, and I would charge it every 7 days or even nearly 2 weeks at times.

Good entry level smart watch for the price. It has almost all the features of pebble steel.
