Ok, so it doesnt have a color screen and some of the other features of some other smart watches, but I actually see that as a positive, The more light you have shining on the screen the better you can see it, try that with one of those color screen watches. You can see it just as easy at night thanks to a light that will only come on if the ambient light is low enough by flipping your wrist or pressing a button. It functions as a pedometer and will do it in the background. There are so many very nice watch faces and useful and interesting apps that what isn't there to like about this watch. It's extremely high quality, best quality watch iv'e owned and I've owned some expensive watches. GET ONE WHILE ITS STILL 149.99!

Works seamlessly and perfectly with my HTL One M8. Looks like what it is - a high end watch. It 's hardware is flawless and overall a perfect watch. Not just a Smart Watch, it is much more a terrific watch - period.

i was a little hesitant at first but after playing around with the display at Best Buy I was sold. You need to asked the question, "Do I really need a flashy color screen on my wrist?" The backlit black & white e-ink screen is actually very cool! It doesn't bring attention to your wrist during a meeting with an obnoxious glow. The vast number of apps that are now available at the pebble store are great! Something for everyone! The battery life is phenominal! I've been getting 6-7 days between charges. Now that the price came down it is worth the investment. It connects seamlessly to my iPhone 5s.

The Pebble Steel is an exceptionally wonderful watch. It is beautifully constructed and made incredibly well. I was very hesitant at first to purchase a smart watch because I didn't want or need a lot going on with a watch. One of the reasons why I love this watch is because you are limited to 8 apps and can't have hundreds of things going on. The notifications come up instantly and work incredibly well. ESPN is a very nice thing to have as with the weather channel watch face. The battery is terrific and the whole watch is great. The box it comes in just shows you how good pebble is. They are not throwing a cheap product out to the market place. However, the leather band feels cheap. Despite that and purchasing a stainless steel one I don't want to change the leather band because it looks and feels nice. The E-Ink is wonderful and easy to read, and it is also a lot better (in my opinion) that the watch has buttons and isn't touch screen. The watch felt small out of the box but it is extremely noticeable on a wrist or from a distance. I would recommend the pebble steel to anyone who wants a smart watch. It is a very wonderful watch and is just simply exquisite.

This new Pebble Steel, is truly amazing, the quality of the watch face itself is outstanding, and I do appreciate the genuine leather band. Although, I would of like to get all the bands that come included when you buy it through Pebble directly, but I am living with it, businesses market their products differently, so I understand. A few things bug me though, I am constantly receiving notifications through out the day, which depletes my battery life, that has got to be the biggest upset for me is the battery life, which is quoted at "7 days." I'm lucky to get three days out of it before I have to charge it. But it does charge rabidly, under forty five minutes to get to 100%. My favorite new update that I appreciate the most is the new vibrating feature, it's not as harsh or as strong as the previous first generation was. So it doesn't zap your wrist every time you get a notification, but provides you with a gentile, yet powerful buzz that lets you see your notification. Another thing about this new gadget, I feel that it is much more fragile than the previous one, I'm scared to wear it day-to-day, and to get it wet. It just seems more fragile than the older model, I would recommend getting the insurance, just to make sure it doesn't die out on you. Overall, a great watch, a great accessory, and a great notifier, if you can live with having to charge it constantly, than this is the watch for you!

The watch works well with my iPhone 5 and there are tons of free apps available for it.

Looking at the Galaxy Gear and Android wear nothing looks and function as well as the Pebble. You get the nessasary notifications without being intrusive. It is always readable without drawing attention and it is a nice looking time piece.

I really love my Pebble watch that I have three of them in different colors. Not only do I use it for notifications, I am able to change the music in my car. Since my phone is bluetooth I am able to change the music without having an aftermarket deck in my car. I found I use this alot so I dont have to take my eyes off the road. Its very helpful to be in meetings and I dont have to pull out my phone when I get a text. I would recommend this to anyone who loves gadgets.

Bought this watch, But I was kind of worried that this watch didn't do what all the reviews said it would do Well let me tell you I am very happy with it the Battery life is very good I love that I don't have to take my phone out of my pocket to read my texts, I forgot my watch one day and I was lost without it had to check my phone for every message

I got my pebble to help with notifications from my wife and kids. Had screen issues but was able to rma with pebble. overall it looks great and works even better.

When I bought this, I was also largely disappointed to find that the watch doesn't come with the steel band which makes the waterproof feature useless. (Currently best buy sells the metal band seperatly at the a good price). It looks great but a little bit of sweat wore out the leather band quick. The biggest turn off to this watch was the short Bluetooth range, this made the find my phone alarm apps and music control apps pretty useless. And this is the reason I switched back to the regular pebble. I love controlling my phones music on a dock and finding my phone I'm the my room with the alarm trigger. Pros: 1.E-Ink display which never turns off in daylight (BIG pro compared to all other smartwatches right now) 2. Geat way to read messages, and cancel calls. 3. Good battery life. 4. Waterproof (With steel band) Con's: 1. Doesn't come with leatherband. 2. Much smaller Bluetooth range than the regular pebble. 3. Only holds 8 apps/custom watchfaces at a time. I recommend the regular pebble! Much better price and better functionality despite the downgraded look.

I, recently purchased a silver Pebble Steel it only took me 5 minutes to set up. After that it is easy, you will just have to download the app and TA DA it is on and going FAST,SMART,FUN I would recommend this watch to anyone. Get silver it is better then black, software is also amazing. GET PEBBLE IT IS AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!

Got this for my kid as a Christmas tech geek gift through online purchase, he was very happy but the surpirse came that the watch turned on with 10% charge and after drained (10around 20min setting it up) it was not able to recharge, we tried everything, connecting it to 2 laptops, a PC and three iPhone wall charges, nothing, it is simply dead, we were able to set it up when it had 10% charge and it worked great, messages, email, whatsapp notifications, pretty awesome gadget reason why I give 4 stars, my kid definitely wants a replacement, unfortunatley it simply does not charge and now I need to take it back now to best buy (Mission Valley), hopefully they will take it back and replace with new one, although I will probably have to wait for a week but the little gadget is worth it.

I have used this watch daily for almost 2 years, and I would recommend it to anyone. The battery lasts for nearly a week under normal use, and the watch still looks great!

Well, Pebble has done again! The Pebble Steel improves the one aspect of the old Pebble that needed work: quality of workmanship. The flat glass screen improves the clarity of the display, and makes the device not only look, but also feel great on your wrist. In addition to this, the software keeps improving, and the list of applications and watch faces makes this device a definitive winner. If you need discreet notifications, good software support, decent battery life, and solid build quality, Pebble Steel is the ticket!

It is a good caller id and notification display device but not a smart watch you can not receive a call, display is black and white. Also i saw in many review battery usually last till 5-7 days i have to keep charge almost in every second day. Still this device can be good if price is around $70- 80 in $199 it is not recommended

I learned that as another reviewer stated, the BB version includes ONLY the leather band. This is noted in small print on the package. And although it states in large print that the watch is waterproof, the leather band IS NOT(again noted in small print)! So unless you remove the band before getting the watch wet you are hosed (no pun intended). Pebble and all online reviews mention two bands. BB does not do enough to point out that this is why they are $20 less then from Pebble direct. I returned, and spent the extra $20 to get with both bands directly from Pebble with free shipping! Come on, Best Buy!!!
