This watch has a long battery life time which is important because I don't plan on charging every night. I really like the look of it and the notifications were at first a novelty, but I now find them very useful. Some of the apps aren't completely polished yet and a little buggy.

I haven't installed too many apps out of the 8 it can store yet, but the ones I have have been easy to use. The watch itself is easy to set up and switch apps on. Generally the battery has lasted between 4-10 days on a single charge for me depending on how much I am using it and the apps.

My husband and I bought the Pebble Watch for our son on his Birthday. He calls to tell us that the PEEBLE WATCH is the best thing ever!! This WATCH is a huge help for him on his job. It makes life simpler. It's very to read to see. No more stoping and getting his phone out, he looks at his wrist and keeps going. And, not to mention it looks very nice on.

It's quite simple so it might not appeal to all, but it's perfect for someone who doesn't need Instagram, Twitter and all of the other nonsense on their watch. Battery life is very good, I get 7 full days out of it. So it's simple, but it's solid and does its job well.

All I want is to be notified if I have an email, text, or phone call. I usually have my ringer turned off so this is perfect for me. The vibration alerts me to a call and I can click the watch to answer it while getting my phone out of my pocket. (Or I can click to ignore the call!) You don't speak or hear through the watch, it just accepts it for you, you still talk using your phone. When a message comes through it pops up on screen and you can scroll through a limited amount of it. My messages are usually short so that's not a problem. I use a watch face that includes weather information. Time and temp on my wrist, perfect! There is a nice calendar app that I use Quick Launch. I don't want games or the Internet on my wrist. I just want to know when I have a call or message without having to make a big production out of finding my phone. Loved it so much I ended up with this one and a stainless steel one.

Bought this to replace my recalled Fitbit Force, which I had bought as they promised to have caller id on the wristband. Needless to say, this never happened, and Fitbit no longer supports the force. As Apple hasn't come out with an iWatch yet, I thought the pebble would be my best bet. Build quality is excellent, I love how waterproof the watch part is, which brings me to the band. Best Buy has the Steel at a lower price point than direct from Pebble, due to the face it only has the leather wristband. I didn't know this when I purchased (it was new in store that day, so I can't fault the staff either), so will be buying the metal wristband soon (just noticed it is available). I have problem hearing my iPhone 4S in a life proof case (not sure that out of the case would be a large improvement) when it rings or has notifications. Having the pebble has been a godsend in that regard, I get the vibration on the wrist when my chosen notifications come in. Keep in mind, if you have lots of notifications (twitter, Facebook, every other app that posts a banner on your page) it will probably drive you batty and you will be turning a lot of them off. On to apps. Some of them are extremely well done, and if I wasn't interested in tracking my steps, I would probably enjoy a great number of them. But after having my fitbit, I enjoy seeing how much I move. So far I have tried the Misfit Shine app (like most of the implementation, but it has bugs, first version), and the Movable app, which is fairly limited but seems to do a good job. But if the app in question isn't the front running app, it won't count steps. Hopefully pebble will fix this in the future, as they don't have a native pedometer that would work no matter what was in front. So all in all, happy with the purchase, and hopeful it will continue to evolve and improve.

My pebble smartwatch is wonderful. I have it synced with my phone .The price is extremely reasonable with knowing everything that it does. The set up is easy. One of the features that is fun is the watchface application.I love it and would recommend it to anyone

I was hesitant to buy a smart watch, but I am in love with it. Its very easy to use. Tt doesn't have a ton of features and I like that. It has exactly what I need. My favorite feature is the alarm. Its a lot easier to wake up to then an annoying cell phone tone.

I have had my Pebble for a few months now and I'm loving it. The ambient watch screen is always visible and I don't have to snap my wrist to get the time to show. The bluetooth connection is also super quick and more times than not, my watch vibrates before my phone does. Pebbles are not meant to replace your phone and you do have to pull your phone out to reply to messages and close notifications, but if you're looking for a device to alert you quickly and at any time, this is a great choice. No more missed calls or forgotten text messages! Also, having reward cards like Starbucks on your watch impresses people every time. If you're trying to decide between the regular Pebble and Pebble Steel, I recommend paying the extra for the Steel. It is a better quality and the screen will not scratch or crack as easily. The buttons are more tactile and it also looks very professional and classy.

Pebble watch does exactly what I expect it to do - push notifications only. Not looking for some touch screen smart watches or similar....battery last for a week easy...looks very elegant not to big not to small. I am very satisfied with my pebble steel wath

I am very impressed with the Pebble Steel smartwatch. I have another brand smartwatch, but didn't like that I couldn't see it in bright daylight and it was limited in its functions. The Pebble Steel looks great, has many features, and is very easy to read in bright daylight. The battery lasts for days without recharging.

It's better than the first one in terms of design. For some reason the battery doesn't last as long as the 1st Pebble. Either way it's a great alternative to Android wear smartwatches.

This is a great time piece, expensive one as well. I like the charging cable, and the battery has never gone dead. It serves its purpose. I guess the on;y downside is you can only have five active apps at once on the watch, which one to chose?

It may not be a sleek as the apple watch but the function is great. All I need are simple quick notifications without the thrills. The battery life is about three days which works great as I don't want to have to charge it every night.

The Pebble Steel isn't the flashiest of smart watches out there, but I truly believe it's the most efficient & does what it does the best. Compatible with both iPhone's & Android devices, you can't lose. I rarely reach for my phone since purchasing this baby & have already gotten a huge amount of compliments on it.
