Customers consistently note the Time Round Smartwatch's sleek and elegant design, with many appreciating its size and thinness. The watch's compatibility with both Android and iOS devices is also well-received. However, customers express concerns about its short battery life, lack of a touchscreen, and connectivity issues, particularly with iOS 9.3.

I was so eager to purchase this watch and now that I have it I have mixed feelings. Overall the watch works as advertise however for the cost it does not feel nor look like a premium device. The watch reminds me of the $2.00 to $5.00 watches that I used to purchase from Walgreens as a small child. For some that's great while others may feel at the cost it should appear to be a premium watch. Overall my user experience with the device has been remarkable. This is no doubt one of the thinnest and lightweight smartwatches on the market. Pebble never seem to have issues with providing the correct functions of their watches which is why I choose them over another Android Wear device. I've owned every pebble with the exception of the Pebble Time (Square) which is why I choose to stick with a company who's only focus is watches.

This was a fun watch for about 22 days. Then it stopped pairing with my phone. It said to contact customer service if problem persists. When I clicked on the link provided it told me that Pebble was no longer a company and no longer providing service since December 6, 2016. I purchased this on January 6th, 2017. If I had known I wouldn't have purchased it. Unfortunately I didn't have this info until day 22 and Best Buy will not give a refund after day 15. (Store credit only). Feel a little taken.

So I wanted a watch so I don't have to keep picking up phone to check notifications. I have a Galaxy S5 phone. I bought the Samsung Gear S2 which looks so nice, and was so promising until I realized I hated it. Just too much crammed into a watch, and hard to read up close. Took it back, bought the Pebble Steel and tried that for a few weeks.... loved it. Not the prettiest thing on the market but it worked, every single time. Ordered the Pebble Round and it's even BETTER. First off, it's nicer looking and very thin. Pleasure to wear. It's also faster than the Pebble Steel... The text is easier to read than the Steel too, and you can make the text larger (not sure if you could do that with Steel). I recently started wearing reading glasses and I don't need the glasses to read this watch. The lack of apps is not a big issue. First off, if anything thinks for one moment that you're going to spend much time doing anything more than glancing at notifications and responding to them you're in for a surprise. The screens are way too small on today's smart watches to do anything productive. When it comes down to it, Pebble is the best at what you'll likely use your watch for. My only complaint, too much money. I bought direct for $249, and it should be about $100 less. I know I can get it for $199 now but I'm good with spending the extra $50. Love the watch, it solved my problem and it's not a burden to use, wear, charge, etc. Voice recognition is awesome, and now I just got an update that supposedly has something to do with Google NOW and even better notifications. Have to read up on that when I get a sec. Note, for Apple users... this latest update apparently let's iPhone users respond to text messages and other good stuff. Very cool.

I love this smartwatch, hands down. I love the form factor because it's stylish and doesn't feel like a huge hunk of extruded, fugly aluminum on my wrist. It's beautiful, aesthetically and the UI is great! It feels like what it is: a really well-designed smartwatch product. it's not trying to be all things, Pebble knows what they do well and focuses on that. It's lightweight, feels durable, battery lasts days even with full notification streaming. Only 4 stars ATM because there's a lack of apps specifically for this version, I expect that to change in the coming weeks.

Day after purchase we read pebble was bought out by Fitbit. Very soon, no technical support would be available. Didn't read dexcom! The watch, and our daughters, stopped the next day. Good idea, looked nice, didn't work very good, and no support! Don't purchase it!

The perfect smart watch for watch people!

I love smart watches. But I don't love people thinking I'm a gadget freak wearing a computer on my wrist. I'm also a fitness nut. So when the entire wearable tech craze started, I was wholeheartedly "all-in". I started years ago with a FitBit, then a Nike Fuelband, then a Basis watch. But after seeing how beneficial getting notifications on your device can be when my wife used her MotoACTV, I thought I should look into that too. Since I was sick of people commenting on the "geeky" wearable teck I had #the Basis watch being the most criticized#, I wanted to ensure that whatever I got, it actually looked like a watch. So the first stop was the original Moto 360, which at the time, was amazing. People rarely noticed that it was a smartwatch at all, and it had all the fitness readings I wanted, including steps and heartrate. But on the downside, the heartrate monitoring required you to be absolutely still, so it was worthless for working out and running, and the fact that I had to flick my wrist to turn the screen on to just check the time made it a distraction during work meetings when I was trying to keep checking my watch on the down low. Sure, there was an "ambient mode" which kept a minimalist clock face on the screen, but it drained the battery significantly where I couldn't get through a full day. Plus, although it was round and looked great from the top, from the side, it was still rather thick. It did use standard 22mm watchbands though, which was great for customization. But over a 15 month period, I found the battery life to degrade, particularly when I used it for runs to monitor my progress via Runkeeper. So now on the Pebble Time Round. I was admittedly skeptical that this would be an adequate replacement, as I had become use to the sharpness and brightness of the LCD screen. But I can say now, that I'm totally sold on the Pebble Time Round. Why? First of all, using color e-ink tech, it allows for the watch face to be always on without draining much power. So during the day or under indoor lighting, it looks terrific, and allows be to check it like a real watch without "flicking" the wrist. Second, the battery life is sufficient to go for almost three full days. I can now put it on for the weekend, use it for all my notifications, runs, sleep monitoring and make it through the entire weekend without worrying about a charge. It's terrific for weekend trips! Third, the microphone and voice recognition are actually pretty good for responding to emails and text messages. With the Glance app #which is free# you can even send new text messages right from your watch using just your voice and few clicks! Amazing! Fourth, since I use an Android phone, all my Google Now alerts still appeared on my watch, because it pushed through the notifications from my phone. Fifth, it uses standard 20mm watchbands, so you can basically install any regular watchband you want! Check out the picture I attach to see the regular 20mm black steel band I added! Only cost me $10 and looks very professional! There's also a 14mm band option if you like smaller bands. Sixth, it's so incredibly thin #7.5 mm thin# and light that it not only looks like an actual watch, but with the leather band it comes with, you can't even feel it on your wrist! So, the downside now. - There aren't as many apps for the Pebble Time Round as there are for Android Wear, so be aware your favs might not be available. - It does step tracking and sleep tracking via the free Misfit app, which is pretty good, but you need to buy an app for $2.99 to connect to Google Fit. It does work with RunKeeper though to show you time, distance and pace, if you use that to track your run on your phone. - In the dark, you still need to "flick" the wrist to use the backlight, as you can't see the e-ink display in the dark #though I suppose you can't see a regular watch in the dark either#. - Screen is much lower resolution as compared to Android Wear watches, so don't expect streaming video or pictures. Plus the screen is pretty small. - It's not a touchscreen, though this didn't really bother me much. The side buttons are actually much more intuitive to use to navigate the system, which is very straightforward. At the end of the day, I think this is the perfect smartwatch for me!

$140.00 is a lot to pay for a company that has been bought out and will no longer offer product support. So the technology will become obsolete. Buy a fitbit or another brand of smartwatch instead.

I received this watch as a gift and I'm very satisfied with it. I love that its functional and fashionable. The only problem I have with it is the battery life. I wish it lasted longer. Otherwise I am very satisfied. I would definitely recommend it.

    Best smartwatch I've owned.

Many might be turned off by the large-ish bezels, the low-ish screen resolution, the lack of AMOLED screen technology, or even the somewhat limited functionality compared to apple watch or Gear S2. Don't be. This is without a doubt the most fun, handy watch I've used. The thin profile makes it the only real option for someone who wears long sleeve dress shirts, as thicker, bulkier apple or android watches simply don't fit well under sleeves. The display is relatively small and the bezels are relatively big, but you really don't think much about it after a while. What shows up on the screen (notifications, messages, emails, texts, etc.# shows just fine and is perfectly readable in any lighting condition. It is also always on, so you can always see the time or notifications at a glance. Otherwise, the backlight will come on when needed, or with a flick of the wrist. Functionally, the watch allows you to get texts or MMS and respond either with canned messages, an emoji, or with the built in microphone. The voice to text dictation on the pebble time round is VERY fast, and the spoken message pops up within about a second or so, ready to be sent. It allows you to have entire conversations on the watch without having to use your phone. You don't have voice search and whatnot, but to be honest would you ever really want to do that on your watch? Battery life is very good. 2 days or more with normal use. I charge mine every day just because I don't want to have to worry about it. Overall, the slim, lightweight body, comfortable strap, and pleasant/quick functionality makes this the watch for me. Until the Gear S 2 #or S3, etc.) gets to be this slim, there won't be any competition.

So I have been an original backer of Pebble products since their debut on kick starter(I broke my original watch). I had bought a pebble from Best Buy back in November of 2014 and purchased the warranty too which I usually don't do. I have had issues with my original pebble most recently not pairing with my phone. The Best Buy staff and their warranty is amazing!!! I was able after 1 yr 7 months able to return my original pebble and exchange/ upgrade to the pebble time round. WOW it's amazing to see how far pebble has come. The round is sleek and elegant which is something the original pebble lacked-it was big and bulky but it did everything I needed it for. The pebble time round offers so many features and I love the fact that I can sent preset texts, view my calander, weather and excercize/sleep patterns. I love the ease of use and simplicity combined with the elegant design. The only cons are: 1. It's not water resistant (the original pebble was and I would even shower with it on) 2. The battery is significantly less than the original pebble (I could go 6-7 days without a charge) but with the slimmer design I understand. Also the pebble round charges in a lot less time than the original.

I purchased this watch after buying an Android Wear watch. I am an iPhone user and was not crazy about the way Android Wear was working with the iPhone and the watch was physically too large for my liking. Then I found Pebble Time Round. The size is perfect! Battery life was much better then the Android Wear watch. But then a few days ago, a new firmware update came out. Now battery life is AMAZING! My watch stayed at 100% all day. I woke up this morning and found my watch at 90% I have no doubt that the battery life will last as advertised now! I thought about keeping my Android Wear watch to see how 2.0 would be since I have read about may updates for iphone users, however I felt that the watch was too big. I am very glad I switched to this watch!

I bought this as a gift for my boyfriend and have also purchased the same watch for myself. It's great if you need to be able to check a constant deluge of texts, emails etc. without constantly whipping out your phone. The best part is that the time round is really sleek, with a thin face and we replaced the bands with the metal mesh bands. The battery life is ok (usually lasts me 1.5-2 days) and I don't mind the recharging at night since the design is so much sleeker than comparable watches and I'm not looking for a full smartwatch.

I received my Pebble Time Round Monday 11/8. I'm returning it three days later. It works but the interface is clunky. The MisFit app isn't available on it yet which was one of the reasons I bought it. From what I understand they are still working with several developers to get the apps to work with it. I'm not taking stars away for that though. I understand what happens when you're one of the first to buy a product like this. My biggest gripe is that for $250 it feels like a very cheap toy. The large white bezel looks worse in person. If it was $100 cheaper I may have considered keeping it. I's definitely not worth the price.

Unfortunately my battery would only last about one day at best, so I decided to take it back and upgrade to one that lasted longer. Nice watch, but it looks like the sleek design came at the expense of a small battery pack.
