The watch required the manual to do the setup which was missing and had to go online to download it. Once the manual was receive it was easy to setup after that.

The always on screen and tremendous battery life make the pebble time feel like a watch rather than another battery hog to worry about. Lacks some of the functionality of an apple watch or Android wear, but it's simplicity makes day to day tasks a breeze.

I bought this watch because Pebble has a pretty good track-record with their previous watches. Well, this one seems to be a step backward. I was looking for something to replace my old Martian Notifier and need a watch with a long battery life, decent vibration, easy to read and comfortable. well, two out of four is what I got with this watch. The battery only lasts about 2 to 3 days (compared to my Moto 360, it is better, but not what I would call ground-breaking) and the screen is almost impossible to see when their is any other light source - not to mention the extremely small text. On the plus side, the vibration strength is good and the watch is lightweight and relatively comfortable (although, I cannot wear silicone-based watches - so I need to change the strap). In summary, if you do not mind the small print, terrible backlight and moderate battery, then this watch is for you.

The Pebble Time is a good basic smart watch. The notifications and Health apps are pretty good. The Health app records steps and mileage. For me, that's fine. If I need a heart rate monitor I can use different machines at the gym. Attractive design, I just changed the band out for a different design. My preference.

The watch was for my grandson (16) and he loves it , it looks nice and receives texts. He is very happy with it

I work in the corporate environment where I cannot be looking at my phone every time I get a message or email, especially during meetings. The pebble has made it easy for me to preview emails and texts without having to take my phone out during meetings letting me choose which ones I need to review closer and answer.

The software and design improvements make this new pebble worth the buy. It still has some glitches, but Pebble is always good at fixing them in new updates.

I don't need a smartwatch that let's me control every aspect of my phone from my wrist. All I needed was a watch that sends me notifications and a few other functions. The Pebble Time does that in a simple, elegant package that is just what I wanted.

Let me begin by saying I owned the original Pebble Watch prior to purchasing this model. After downloading the appropraite app, the watch paired easily with my iPhone. The screen is adequately clear and readable. The backlight could be a bit more bright, but its ok. The watchband is rubber and quite comfortable.

Love the size and the convienence of seeing who is calling and texting without having to pull my phone out.

I like the new timeline interface. I lose Bluetooth connection daily, annoying but manageable. I would prefer a steel version however for a better look.

I love that you can now speak your response I would love for the screen to be brighter but still loving it.

I've had the original Pebble for a year or so and the Pebble Time is a great improvement.. The color is great, the watch seems overall more responsive and it's better integrated with phone. If you like the Pebble you'll love the Pebble Time.

Had the original Pebble and upgraded to the Time when the OG starte screen tearing. Love the color display and that all the functionality from the original is the same here. The added microphone makes it easier to reply on android as well

This smart watch is nice. I was able to easily get it connected to my phone. I have had a few more problems finding how to navigate the apps.

Upgrading from the original pebble, I was looking forward to the color screen and new features. But the screen was just too small to easily read while on the go, I tried several font enlargement programs but couldn't even get them to load correctly. I ended up going back to the original pebble and am very happy with it. the Pebble is a great product, just make sure you try out the different models now to make sure you get what works best for you.

Screen is small and hard to read indoors. Lots of apps but many use Metric units that can't be changed. Pebbles Time has more bang for the buck.

Cool product and good smart watchs looks better then the first pebble

I had one of the original Pebble smart watches. I was very intrigued when I saw the new time line of devices. When I was able to, I purchased one. I am very happy with it and they have made good improvements over the original.
