This movie satisfied. While there are several books being made into movies, this one seems like it could stand on its own and have its own identity, rather than get compared to other movie series. Definite Must See.

This was a fun action adventure movie. It was a modern retelling of the Greek story of Perseus. While it was definitely geared toward teens and tweens, a adults could still find something to enjoy in this movie.

This was a great movie! I was so happy that they continued to make the movies off this book series. It is a lot of fun and totally appropriate for all ages.

My son is a big fan of the books, and I enjoyed them too. The plot in the movie does deviate from the books, but it manages to catch the essence more or less. These movies will never top the novels, but they're still fun.

My niece loves this movie. It really is great for family movie night. It's adventurous, fun, and if your a fan on Supernatural, some parts will make you laugh hysterically, then feel bad afterwards.

Percy Jackson fans will not be disappointed! Tons of adventure and special effects in 3D are mesmorizing! Captures your interest right from the start and the kind of movie you'd see again and again!

This was a really good movie that me & my husband enjoyed watching and t g enjoyed my sob and his family borrowed it and their kids also really enjoyed it. I highly recommend this movie for all ages.

I love how this movie introduces all the characters in the Percy Jackson series. The second movie I feel didn't lived up to the expectations but everytime I see Alexandra Daddario on screen is awesome for me.

Having read many books before the movie release, I am usually left disappointed because they stray so far from canon with theatrical releases glad that this was not one of those disappointments.

Got this for my daughter who is a huge fan of the books. Although she has watched it several times already, even she admits it was not as good as it could have been. Still fun to watch if you like the books.

i bought this for my 9 year old twins who are really into this series - they thought it was fantastic fun and have watched it several times and love talking about what is different from the book.

I bought Percy Jackson and the Olympians the lighting thief because I enjoyed the book the movie was great I liked all the action and the myth behind the gods

If you like fantasy and mythology this is a decent movie. It's not particularly accurate to anything that you might have learned in school, if they even teach mythology anymore, but it was entertaining.

I love having the option to watch a movie in Blu-Ray, regular DVD and Digital Copy for when I'm on the go. Awesome movie for kids and adults, puts a fun twist on Greek Mythology.

Great on-disc features and I appreciate that it includes a DVD, but it would be significantly better if the included digital copy was an Ultraviolet copy vs being a download/apple store copy.

When I first saw this movie it had to be in my movie collection, so I bought and keep watching. Awesome Adventures and fun for the Family as well. The Percy Jackson series are Amazing.

I had seen this movie in the theater and liked it. I purchased the 3D second movie. I wanted to show my friends, but they had not seen the first one, so I bought it.

as a child I loved greek mythology, and the percy Jackson movies are fun and entertaining for the family. big enough for adults to enjoy, and not too violent/bloody for 10 year olds.

I really liked this. It was a purchase for the kids, but I ended up getting sucked in. I liked it better than the other Percy Jackson film, but both are good family films.
