It retained the P3's OG dark vibe & overall story (with some minor changes) but added some of the P5's battle mechanics. Graphics ofc is upgraded & the voice acting is great as usual. I wish they had the female MC option but oh well. The figurine is small in size but nice. Too bad there's no steelbook case included. Best buy preorder pickup was also smooth & quick. Highly recommend!

Amazing game, figure is good, life changing experience.

I never really got into Persona 3 or either of its rereleases, FES and Portable, despite enjoying the story. The gameplay was very unrefined compared to P4 and especially P5, and while I do know many people love it for how different it plays, it was just not for me. But this remake fixes every issue I had with the game and then proceeds to go above and beyond with extra content. The story is enthralling, the characters are relatable, and the gameplay is probably the best in the series, with the exception of a few minor issues that are a result of this being a remake of a 20 year old game. Stuff like there only being two characters to spend time with in the evenings and the entire dungeon being randomly generated. They could have fixed it, but it would have changed the game too much, and I respect the desire to preserve the original's identity. Overall, great game. As for the collector's edition extras, I would say it's fairly hit-or-miss depending on what you like, and there is a little bit of a feeling that it's a mixed bag. There is an artbook with concept art and great images, but it's not a hard cover like most Atlus special editions. But then the CD included is the ENTIRE game soundtrack, not just a small selection, which is very abnormal and very welcome as a fan of the music in this series. And then there's the figure. I'm not normally a fan of figurines but I love the characters in this game, especially Aigis, so much so I do enjoy it. But your mileage may vary and I do still think it's not as exciting as some other extras I've seen from Atlus. Overall, I would say it's a good product.

Overall a great game with a dark, but beatiful story of life and death and how that affects others. The gameplay is great and has nice changes from the new Theurgy system, and the quality of life changes post original Persona 3/FES like skill selection during inheritence, P5's action menus and baton pass, etc. If you have played base Persona 3/FES, or portable, it is overall the same story, but there is enough changes in gameplay and additional content to make this a great game to get into for first time players and veterans of Persona 3.

One of my all time favorite JRPGS, it was an amazing faithful adaption of the original that Persona fans have all grown to love but with updated graphics and gameplay reminiscent of P5. My one gripe on this is the price. For $200 the bundle is kind of lackluster, as others pointed out this AEGIS figure is maybe $70 tops, and the art booklet and soundtrack while nice should only he maybe $50 combined. Definitely on the pricier side for what you get, but considering I’m a die hard Persona fan, it was worth it for me in the end. Side note: The Asian countries received a SEES exclusive armband with their edition, would’ve been really cool to have with ours as well and would have made it more worth it in my eyes.

I bought the collector's edition because I love Persona 4, 5, and all its spinoffs. I never played the original Persona 3 so I went in blind. I love this game. The visuals are great, the music is fantastic, and the story and theme are so well done. It really gets emotional in some parts. Overall, if you like Jrpgs, mixed with some social sim, this is a must buy!!

Persona 3 has an amazing story combined with great gameplay.

Perfect in every way shape and form. Amazing music, great story, and gameplay. This is a must play for anyone with a deep story and is an unforgettable experience.

I played Persona 3 to completion back in high school, and Reload more than lives up to the same quality I experienced back then. The music and vocals are a bit different, but they complement the new voice direction as a whole. The visuals are beyond expectations, especially when it comes to Tartarus, the main dungeon of the game. Where it once was dark and dingy, it has become mysterious and pleasing to the eye. The characters in the social links are more alive than ever before and I am more than happy with my purchase.
