Great Rhythm Game with Nice Extras
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The game is great but I was really surprised with the quality of the Disco Fever extras. The reversible pouch is padded and nice quality, the CD has all the songs featured in the game and the background tracks from the story mode and menus. The Disco Fever Edition is highly recommended if you're gonna pick up P4D

Great music/rhythm game.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you like any rhythm games then this is right up your alley. Only reason I took 1 star off is for Atlus insistence on not providing dual-audio. Hopefully they will listen to the fans for Persona 5.

Fun Game, Iffy Story
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. As a rhythm game, Persona 4 DAN will not disappoint. Story wise however, while it is nice to see all of the characters back it's honestly a lot of retread over the themes of Persona 4.

One of My Favorite Collector's Edition Sets
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This Disco Fever Edition is one of my favorites of all the collector's edition games I've bought. Why? Because of the carrying pouch. It's large enough to use for other purposes besides hauling my Vita. Some collector's editions include items that are useless to me - huge statues, art book, stickers, etc; I could go on. The keychain is cute and hefty, but it will go unused because it will get rekt by the amount of keys that I carry daily. The Vita skin (front face only) was easy to apply and a nice, dark color. Also, the wallpapers, DLC costumes, and bonus song were easy to download. The game is pretty fun and it's different from the shooters, RPGs, or visual novels with which I'm familiar. I'm not so great at rhythm games (Guitar Hero... spaz out time), but this one is OK. All in all, the pouch, keychain, and skin are worth it to me to get the Disco Edition instead of the game by itself. NOTE: The outer box of this set is flimsy, like a thin cardboard, so hopefully if you need to have yours shipped, it won't be crushed. And, the outer box is a square shape, so you might have trouble storing this on a DVD/BR shelf along with your other games.

A great game for Persona 4 fans
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you are debating on whether you should buy this game, the question you should be asking yourself is do I love Persona 4/P4G? If you are a fan of the characters and soundtrack, then this game is a definite buy. It you are mainly a rhythm game fan, it may not be for you. The game is light on challenge and very easy on timing, which is good for newcomers, but bad for rhythm veterans. For example, I found note speed so slow that I needed to bump the speed up to the max (7) because I was having trouble with the pace. Complaint aside, I can't get enough of this game.

Great fun with some significant plaguing issues
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. As a huge fan of Person 4 Golden it was a huge rush to get back into the universe. The music is fantastic as usual and the visuals are gorgeous. While playing the songs are great fun, especially if you already know them from previous titles, there are some glaring problems with the mechanics and win/fail system. The rhythm timing doesn't feel consistent. Sometimes I feel like I nailed the timing only to see I got a "Great" instead of a "Perfect" and other times I feel like I messed up the timing but end up getting a good note anyway. Its very odd and to me is a clear product of Dingo Inc. (creators of the Project Diva games) not sticking around to the completion of this game's development. As for the scoring system, its brutally and ridiculously strict, to the point of being straight up unfair. To be clear, I'm not saying the gameplay itself is difficult, just that the rules of whether you pass or fail a song are egregiously strict. The best way I can explain the issue is by the following examples: Play 1 - Let's say 10 notes were missed, mostly near the beginning of the song. If you manage to do well for the last 30-40% of the song, you'll pass it. Play 2 - Play the same entire song perfectly up until the very last moments where you miss 2 or 3 notes. If there aren't enough notes afterwards to help you pick up the crowd meter, you failed, regardless of how impeccably you performed for 99% of the song. Despite the issues I still immensely enjoyed this game. But if you aren't already a huge Persona 4 fan you probably won't be able to see past the obvious issues it has.

Great Bundle and Great Game
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First off this bundle includes great physical goodies and DLC! All for great value! Second, the game is wonderful! It is sort of a continuation of Persona 4 but newcomers to the series will still enjoy it! Lastly, these bundles usually are produced in limited quantities so get it while you can!

The best selling Vita title gets a rhythm game
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. When Persona 4 Golden was released for the Vita, I was afraid of the handheld issue where older titles from home consoles from prior generations just get ported to newer portables. Nintendo is guilty of this crime of "milking" properties ad-nauseum. It can be argued that this is done to reach a new generation of gamers which would be a fair assessent. However, Persona 4 Golden enhanced the PS2 original. Adding a limited edition game for the Vita no less is really a fantastic option. Great remixed tunes with great additions for collectors. Instead of the old days of having to be really physically coordinated on a dance mat like the old Dance Dance Revolution days, our touch screen experienced fingers can go to town on this great title. Strap in for fun!

Nice game if you're into Rhythm Games
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Nice spin off for your typical Persona Game specially if you like Persona's sound track. The added items in this edition are so-so. If you can get the regular version for much lower price, then go for that.

Really fun game for Persona fans and rhythm fans
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Usually I'm not a fan of rhythm games, however this is the exception. This is a great rhythm game, with an excellent story and fun, well written characters. I only wish more games like this were available for the PS Vita.

OK Persona, fun music game
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Songs are fun and gameplay is addicting, but the "story" is pretty lame and a waste of P4 characters. Bonus content for this more expensive version isn't worth it unless on sale.
