Brought the vanilla version, waited for a sale on this version. Enjoyed the extra content and QoL improvements to the base game.

If you love the anime style of Cowboy Bebop and like old school turn based battle systems, you gotta try this one! It's a very entertaining departure from the monotony of the majority of tripe A titles out today. Really enjoying it!

Wow I am glad I picked this up. I loved the original but was skeptical about Royal. I love the new confidants and the additions to the battle mechanics. It also loads very quickly on the PS5, hope it receives a patch.

Such a fantastic game. Even if you've already played Persona 5, the Royal Edition adds enough to still make a replay worth it.

This is the expanded version of one of the best JRPGs of the generation. Fantastic graphics and music. Highly recommended!

the few differences make it easy and longer then the original but it dosent really change anything and is not really a differnt ending.

One of the best JRPGs out there. So many improvements over the original Persona 5, along with just being a solid game that drips with style. Everything about it makes you want to see more. 10/10 will play again and again.

I've been playing this for over a week, it is SO GOOD. I actually have a copy of the original Persona 5 version. Luckily I didn't get too far in that one as this newer version, Persona 5 Royal, offers a better quality of life upgrade to make the game more fun. The cinematics and art style is very nice and also inspired its anime show counterpart. For pure fun and value, get this. You could blow money on cable subscription, but you can easily get more time and fun out of this.

I bought this game based on the hype and great reviews. It did not disappoint! The game play should be familiar to anyone who has played previous Persona games. Battle system is fantastic, and the characters are unique and funny. This version is also a big upgrade to the standard Persona 5 with a ton of extra content, and improved game mechanics. You'll spend hundreds of hours exploring the game world and story. Definitely one of the best JRPGs of all time!

Characters, story, gameplay, music? What is there not to like? It's one of the best games of the PS4 generation.

I've been Playing the Persona games from the beginning of the series and while Persona 5 isn't my favorite in the series, it is a great game and highly recommend if you like rpgs. If you played the original Persona 5 you know what to expect but there is so much added to P5R that it won't feel like the exact same game. Expect redesigned dungeons, new characters and story, new battle features etc. Definitely worth a buy even if you already have the original.
