If you liked P5 already, getting P5R is a no brainer. The new content makes replaying through the game worth it. New Personas, characters, activities, etc. One of the best RPGs out there.

I love this game. The music is funky and the turn base action is fun. Gamers do not sleep on this game.

Picked up vanilla Persona 5 a few years ago, on sale. I enjoyed the game very much, even though I'm not a huge fan of the Shin Megami Tensei / Persona series. But, the jazzy music, vibrant art style and characters, pulled me in. So, when I heard a more refined and Persona 3 Fes-esque version of Persona 5 was coming out, I looked into to it. Worth the buy even if you already have the original Persona 5, and get it on sale like I did.

Story and voice acting are phenomenal. Soundtrack is also great. Tutorial is a little long though.

I went into this originally, I had already played the original persona 5 many times. I was familiar with how this story went. So for someone who is a veteran going into this one was almost like a breath of fresh air. I knew enough to get some things done but the new stuff kept me invested. Going back to the phantom thieves from the very beginning just felt like something I needed to do and it was well worth it.

Persona 5 on its on was a masterpiece 10/10 game and was the best game of 2017 alonside botw. We already knew that persona 5 royal was going to be a much better experience but Atlus literally blew it away by improving on a masterpiece game and turning it into perfection! They literally took and redesigned everything and added much much more. If persona 5 royal itself was released in 2017 it would have easily won GOTY

Really good game wish they would bring it over to the switch. Looking forward to persona 5 strikers

Best JRPG of 2020. 100+ of gameplay and new edition greatly enhances the story and game mechanics.

Just started playing the game and so far, the game's pretty good with it's gameplay and music.

It has great music and great characters. It's turn-based, so the combat is not too overwhelming.

If you're considering buying but think you'll be buying the exact same game, it's not true! There's small things added to make gameplay more smooth and big things like a whole new semester!

Bought this for my kid and it was his favorite gift. Not sure what the game is about but got mom points so its worth the money.

This is a great game filled with a ton of content, and shines brightly on PS4 Pro and PS5.

Persona 5 is one of my favorite games on the PS4. P5R adds onto the original in almost every way. I think I had around 130+ hours in P5, and P5R gave me about 100+ hours of playtime. There's new personas, new content for the palaces from the original game, new characters, a more fleshed out Mementos, and more. This game is legit jam packed with stuff to do frfr. Buy it.

Best JRPG ever!! I bought this for a gift for my cousin on Christmas. 2020 I didn't expected this game at all until one day I just looking for a new game to play during the lockdown. And once I booted it up listening the intro, the songs, seeing the art style, learning the mechanics that's similar to Pokemon turn based with the Japanese god names was ABSOLUTELY wild ride and ENTIRELY AMAZING.

I bought for my son, that is very picky with games. And he simply loves it!

I've really enjoyed the game thus far. The graphics and story are very enjoyable.
