It's a lengthy game, but the story is gripping. And it had good replay value, new game + let's you carry stats over, so this can open new options early in the game for you.

IF you ever played a Persona game you know what to expect. Half life sim and half dungeon crawling. The personas and character designs are all great. The improved dungeons, battle mechanics and fast travel really lets you get to the meat of the game. The soundtrack is great as expected. Really a top notch RPG living up to the Persona mantle.

The Persona series is one of the best RPG series in the industry. It has everything from great music to great sidequests to thousands of persona monster combinations with all kinds of skills. The story is amazing and it will keep you on your toes throughout the game. If you love RPG's, then this is the game for you.

Great soundtrack, great gameplay, entertaining storyline.

This is my favorite JRPG since Valkyria Chronicles. The gameplay is addicting and I keep telling myself "just one more day and I'll take a break." The soundtrack is quite groovy, maybe at times repetitive, but overall enjoyable. I enjoyed the opening to Persona 4 a bit more than 5, however, I am getting more into the story as time goes on.

As the title of my review says, this is a must have game if you have a PS4. It's a super stylish, fast paced JRPG that is a ton of fun to play. It may say 5 in the title but you don't have to have played the previous entries to know what's going on (similar to Final Fantasy games). Would highly highly highly recommend this game

Persona 5 is an excellent entry to the Persona series. While not as good as Persona 4, Persona 5 is still a blast to play and for me clocked in at about 80 hours. So you get alot of value for your money. If you like the Persona series its a no brainer. If you like JRPG's it is also worth a look. High school was never this exciting!

Tried to explain to a friend why they should play this game, and I couldn't. To explain my own likes a bit.. Not a huge anime fan. Nor am I a big fan of the idea of a highschool life sim and "dating" high school girls. I do love a good JRPG tho.. With all of that said. This game is amazing. Buy it now. Play it. Love it.

Title says it all, best JRPG of this gen. Style, substance, graphics, story, sound, characters...this game has it all. If you're even remotely interested in RPGs and JRPG's, this game is a must-have for your collection. For $20 or less, it's a steal. At least 100hrs worth of gameplay and story here.

If you've ever been curious about the Persona games, do yourself a favor and grab this. I was on the fence for a while and I'm glad I finally jumped in. It's like nothing else I've played. You don't need to have played any of the other games. I haven't and still loved this.

A phenomenal entry in the Persona series. The overall presentation is stylish to the max. I would even go so far as to say it’s the most stylish game this gen. The confidant system is a unique take on social links. The combat does an excellent job of proving that a turn-based system can still work even today.

Yeah...its weird...its persona... Gameplay, story, music, and art style are great. Even if youre not a fan of Persona or JRPGs you might get hooked here

One of the best J-RPGS around but not suited for twitch players as game will take a minimum of 100 hours to complete.

I was not a fan of Persona 4 at all, and only found Persona 3 to be okay. I was shocked to find that I not only liked Persona 5, I LOVED it! I'm "only" about 60 hours in right now but it's been an enjoyable ride almost all throughout. The last 5 or so hours have been... less than stellar, but I am sure that will change.

I’m still in the beginning stages of this but so far it seems like a decent game. Solid game design and likable characters. As expected, the art direction/design of the game is by far the most impressive aspect of it. I spend like 10 whole minutes just opening things in the menu screen just staring at the animation, lol. As far as purchasing from Best Buy, I bought this during the middle months of covid19. The online order was hassle free and the curb-side pick up was great.
