Seeing as Persona 4 Golden was fantastic, I hesitated on Persona 5 so I want letdown. The only letdown was that I waited!

Make sure you download DLC to have language in Japanese. Game is done well, and makes you forget about time. It's up there with the top 5 games I've played of all time. It's between FF Tactics on PS1 and Nier Automata...

My first Persona game and now I understand. I was waiting for almost a year after the hype train left and got it for 23$ on sale. Worth every penny. Hard to describe. You have to play it. I put 22 hours in the game in the first 2 days. Was pretty tired Monday morning though. Can't wait to get back and play more.

Absolutely love this game! This is honestly one of the best JRPG games I have ever played. The story, the characters, and the setting of the game are all outstanding and well developed. This is such a fun game to play even though it is long. Definitely recommend picking this game up!

If you ever played persona then you know what to expect. You'll play a (mainly) silent protagonist, your best pal will be oft putting. You'll have access to several romances. Igor and the velvet room will cater to helping you catch them all. Take a part time job, study for tests and holiday with your school chums that ends in a swimsuit fun filled water montage. Pets, mentors, fusing, it's all here, wrapped in a slick and stylish package.

This is the complete package. Story is most important for me, and this has it in spades. Game play mechanics are intuitive and challenge ramps up gradually. Graphics and sound are fantastic. Even the voice acting is superb. One of the few games I would replay, maybe. it takes a looong time to finish.

Purchased the game for my husband. He felt it was a solid game but lacked the magic from the first 3 games.

I read a lot about this game as being a newcomer to this series. In the end I decided to purchase it and it did not dissapoint. I have throughly enjoyed the experience and cannot put it down. It got me hooked since the beginning. If you have a PS4, buy this game immediately.

I have always been pretty picky with jrpgs and this is my first playthrough a persona game. This game has absolutely blown me away. Gameplay, art, graphics, story...everything about this game feels fresh and amazing. Turn base combat feels so much better than most other turned based games.

I bought this game for a friend and this was the cheapest I could get the game. It shipped quick and the game itself is absolutely magnificent. I downloaded the game myself and it has such a good story, interest gameplay, and astonishing music. I highly recommend.

I waited for this game for nearly 4 years after playing Persona 4 Golden on the Vita, and I know many people who waited longer since the original Persona 4 came out on the PS2 nearly a decade ago. The wait was so worth it. Persona 5 fixes almost every issue from Persona 4 Golden and adds a lot more to the table along with a completely new story, characters, acid jazz OST, and more. It took me about 135-140 hours to finish the story and it went by in a flash. I know there are others who finished the game in about 90 or so and I've also seen people who went up into the 180 range. I feel like I can recommend it to anyone looking for something new to try out, those who wish for an immersive game, and especially JRPG fans. I was able to get a friend who had never played a JRPG and hated anime to play this and he absolutely loves the game so far. The game does have a few flaws but they are very minuscule and don't hamper the game or experience at all. Do yourself a favor and get this game
