Intense action that doesn't require much thinking, and a good story to go along with it.

You try to run me through Hold on Think again Don't you know What you're starting But ... you sure ain't got a clue How bad This will go Don't you know Know my art (Art of war) And as you look to the horizon Not a cloud But then stormy weather's caught you cold Seems like it crept up out of nowhere All around You it's not quite what you foretold You'll never see it coming You'll see that my mind is too fast for eyes You're done in By the time it's hit you, your last surprise You think you got your game Planned out To a T Yet I'm two Steps ahead yeah So ... you step into my way Stand down It's a trap One more step And you're dead (Yeah you're dead) Why just a picosecond ago Clear blue skies But now lightning's struck your last resolve It's not an accident that no one Hears your cries As your last strength seems to dissolve You'll never see it coming You'll see that my mind is too fast for eyes You're done in By the time it's hit you, your last surprise I'm coming For you My game's always so fast, so fine You're spun in By the net you didn't catch it in time Better think About your game Are you sure Your next move's the right one for you? Are you sure You won't get outmaneuvered again And again my friend? You'll never see it coming You'll see that my mind is too fast for eyes You're done in By the time it's hit you, your last surprise I'm coming For you My game's always so fast, so fine You're spun in By the net you didn't catch it in time

A Worthy Successor to Persona 5!

Basically Persona x Dynasty Warriors. Nice mix of the two, but at a much smaller scale --Story/Plot: Takes place 4 months after ending of Persona 5 base game during summer break (ignoring P5 Royal extra semester). Find out that the metaverse events are still happening, and you solve the mystery as to why; while going on a summer road trip. If you haven't played Persona 5 or Persona 5 Royal, it can be a lot to take in as you're bombarded with the entire cast of phantom thieves without explanation of backstory. Can still be followed as a standalone story, but some references in dialogue may go over your head Game is very cutscene heavy Story has similar style and art aesthetic to Persona 5, and is really good There are no social link in the game, so cannot become bff or romance anyone. P5 save data doesn't transfer in, so everyone will just act neutral towards you --Gameplay: --Gameplay loop: Story shows current scenario Go into city and investigate by talking to every NPC Enter dungeon (Jail) defeat enemy There are no time constants like in the original game, and you can beat the game at your own pace. Instead of social links there's a bond (with entire group) system where you gain points where you can spend of perks There's a cooking system where you combine ingredients to make consumable items No more negotiating with Persona in order to obtain them, instead they're rewards for winning battles. No longer able to sacrifice persona to transfer skills, instead there's only a fusion system There are also far less persona in the game compared to Persona 5 -Combat: Similar to Dynasty Warriors game, but less open world Battles in a concentrated area, and once you defeat hundred of enemies on screen; it open up new area You have your standard physical attacks, but able to select Persona via special AOE attacks by pressing a button to slow down time. In order to use specials, you have to use SP which are limited (especially in long dungeons). Most of the time it feels like spamming attacks on attack sponge enemies which makes combat really repetitive and unnecessary. Enemies have health and armor bar, where armor needs to be depleted by attacking with super effective moves to lower major health bar from enemy. Once armor breaks (stagger), enemies gets stunned and you can use an all-out-attack As you do battle, you can build up your Show Time meter to do Show Time Attack Defensive options are limited. Basically need to dodge or dash away. No block or parry option Team AI are not that smart. Most of the time they just stand around and do minimal damage. If you go into a match where they have weakness to enemies attack, they're pretty much useless. You can switch and play different party members on the fly, but most of the time I just stuck with Joker since he has a larger move set. Exception when boss enemy is has weakness to party member moves and can build up meter faster, or when party member have their show time meter filled. There are environmental objects around stages you can interact with. Problem is there are buttons mapped to multiple functions, and you can interact with an object instead of using the move you want. When it works and you get used to everything; the faster paced battle system can be really fun --Music/sound: Music is great in this game as with the original There are returning ones, new original music for this game, and some remixes Some recorded character dialogue is really low for some reason when conversing with each other . hope it gets patched Overall; gameplay can be repetitive, but the story is very engaging (if you like the original or PS5 Royal). For newcomers to the series, best to play the Persona 5 Royal first (or Persona 5) so you don't' get lost in the story.

The game is great and a lot more like the actually persona game for gameplay which was a pleasant surprise! A little sad the game case came cut even when factory sealed but I ended up putting it straight into the steel case which worked out perfectly. The soundtrack is excellent in this game and it’s super fun having more hack and slash type elements vs the regular straight rpg battle style

Persona 5 Strikers is the fresh game with new type of gameplay, but I feel like this game is very short or rush to milk fans and if compare with the others in movie way, so this game is short movie.

Having played Persona 5 Royal, and being about 10 hours into this sequel, I am happy to say: this is a great follow-up! Although the games are quite different in terms of actual gameplay, this hits on essentially every expected point. The story picks up about six months after the end of the original Persona 5 (not Royal), and brings the team back together in an organic way. Similar events that caused the rise of the Phantom Thieves have begun, and the Phantom Thieves must investigate what is causing the re-occurrence. Although the gameplay is active, more akin to a team hack-n-slash, it's a clear evolution of Persona 5. You control your desired character, but have the ability to switch between each party member at will. Each have unique characteristics, so you'll be expected to switch between them in order to maximize your team's full potential. It's not enough to pound on the attack button repeatedly, which adds elements of strategy you'd expect from the turn-based original. Individual character experience and team "bonding" experience still plays a large role, so there will be some trial and error in terms of finding the right approach for success. Being only partially through the game, other reviewers will provide better commentary on the depth of gameplay, but it's easy to say as someone that appreciated the first game(s), this is a fantastic follow-up, easily worth your time.

The item arrived in excellent shape! The content is great as persona fans can now experience the typical dynasty warriors style of virtual combat within the world of Persona. You’ll get to be the exciting characters you always wanted.

As a fan of musou games, I was pretty excited when this game was announced. After finishing the game, I can say that this is a very fun game but only when you get to the halfway point. The beginning of the game feels like a slog as you feel underpowered when fighting the enemies in the dungeons but that feeling disappears once you get to the halfway point. From there, the game becomes very fun and the combat begins to feel fluid. This game also has a pretty good story and had me invested the whole way through. If you’re a fan of Persona 5 and action games then I would recommend this game but be warned that it will take some time to get used to but the wait is worth it.

Fun, but the new battle system is really repetitive and can get boring. The game feels pretty short too. But it has lovely graphics and it’s nice to have the gang back together.

Im usually not a huge fan of these musou games as I find them lose their charm after only a handful of hours but this one does everything right. Its more Persona then Warriors and they really did an amazing job integrating the Persona 5 combat into this game. Also the music is top notch with amazing originals and remixes of some of the favorites.

The combat in this game takes some getting used to. It’s not exactly a Dynasty Warriors type and it’s far from the turn based combat you’re familiar with in Persona but once you get used to it’s a lot of fun. A big departure gameplay wise from P5 but with the same visual style. It’s a great way to spend more time with your favorite characters.

Persona 5 Strikers takes the somewhat traditional Dynasty Warriors gameplay and meshes it with Persona 5 in a smaller scale that works well. The game is fun and feels good to play with a lot of replay value.

Atlus is one of the few game development studios which has been around for a while that has only gotten better with time. Person 5 Strikers is a musou (Dynasty Warriors) style game but it's more than just mindless button smashing and there's a lot to love. If you enjoy the Persona series it's a safe bet you'll enjoy this.
