It creates a loud feedback when the sound it on and the laser lags and is hard to control. Overall, I like it, don't know if its worth $200 but I use it everyday so I'm keeping it.

Thanks for your feedback. Have you tried to do laser calibration? That will make laser movements more accurate. To do this, please go to the Home page, then Settings and choose Calibration.

I think our voices freaked him out a little bit, but he loved the laser play!! Overall it brought us peace of mind and some extra play time for him. A great product indeed!!

It was a little difficult to set up Because of our Wi-Fi issues but the service I got from the company was incredible. They were willing to talk to me on the phone. they sent me emails and answeried all my questions right away. I could not have asked for better support.

For the amount of money it was, I expected it to have a lot more features. I did not like the fact that you could "share" your camera with other people to play with your pet. I also didn't like how you can't rotate the camera to see different angles. I have a dog who has very bad separation anxiety and so when I go to speak into the app, I found that it picks up on background noise very easily. I also didn't like how it doesn't have a mute button so that you can hear what's going on, and not have the noise coming from where you are (at work, in the car, etc.). I think this is great for people who live in a community where their pets are friends and know other owners, but for someone who is merely checking up on their pet, I find that it wasn't the best choice.

I am really sorry to hear about your experience with Petcube and I would love to offer you my help.
Firstly, let me assure you that by default settings, only you can access your Petcube Camera feed and no one else. The different sharing options that we have in the app are optional, they are disabled by default and you don't have to use them unless you want to.
As for the background audio and one-way audio stream, we are currently working on an application update that will come with a push-to-talk functionality, so you will no longer experience that problem as soon as we release it.

If there was a way to put the APP on AUTO and I could get other things done at the same time, I'd give it 5 stars. Now, if you have children, give them the tablet or cell and let them have a blast.

Posted .Hi there! Thank you fro your review and the feedback. Unfortunately, we do not have any desktop applications so you can not view the feed from your Petcube on the PC. You can only connect to the camera and view the video feed through our mobile app.
We are considering making a desktop version of the app, but we are afraid that it's not going to happen in the nearest year for sure. At the moment you can connect to the camera and view the video feed only through our mobile app. Best Regards, Petcube Team.

I was not interested in sharing with other people or just seeing a few seconds of video clips. I wanted it to be a monitor. This did not do it in a way I liked. I returned it and bought a nest indoor camera that I like much better.
