Didn’t really enjoy the game. Hoping the new one will be better

Boring game. Not like any in the past. Basic boring upgrades. Don’t buy.

Where to begin? This game has so much going for it, there's no way to extol all of its virtues. If you are a middle aged person, like me, and not really a gamer, this game will still be fun for you because the game play settings are very customizable. You can have poor hand/eye coordination and still play well enough to compete in the PGA season. There are so many nuances to this game that add to the fun. You can have a rivalry with an actual PGA pro, and you can have contracts with actual companies, like Adidas, Calloway, Under Armor, et al. There are cool rewards when you fulfill those contracts or defeat your rivals. There is a plethora of golf apparel for your golfer. Admittedly, I have a lot of fun choosing a different outfit for my golfer to wear every round. The outfits range from the conservative, to the outlandish. You want plaid knickers and pink sunglasses for your golfer? Have a it. You want slick Polo fashion? Got that too. There are also a ton of golf cubs available for you to upgrade to, but it seems that my initial set of clubs are better than 90% of the other club available to win or purchase. I'm in my second PGA season, and other than my driver I'm still using my initial set. My biggest gripe? Camera angles. When I sink a long put, I like watching the replays, but the camera angles don't do your accomplishment any justice. Overhead, angled camera shots of putts all look the same. I'd love to watch a replay of my put from a ground view so I can see the ball break. There's nothing better than watching a long, straight putt break near the end and fall into the cup. There are Hole Challenges, too. Before your tee shot, you get a notification for various hole events. From the simple: landing your tee shot on the fairway. To the more difficult: scoring a par or better with only one putt. Sometimes, though, the Challenges aren't consistent with your situation. Challenge: hit a tee shot longer than 295 yards. Problem: the fairway ends at 285 yards. Meeting that challenge will put you in the rough. With few exceptions, the tournament trophies all look the same. That said, the unique trophies are beautiful. The announcers don't seem to care about eagles when giving an overview of your scoring streak. I've gone, birdie, eagle, birdie, birdie. and the announcer will say "he's had back to back birdies". Or he'll say, "He scored 9 birdies on the course today", and not say a word about the two eagles I also scored. Hopefully, HB Studios reads these online reviews and take some of these points into consideration. I have a lot more. I could go on, but I'll end it here. Is PGA 2K21 Golf perfect? Of course not. Is it fun and addicting? Ab-so-lutely!

Number one, yeah if you don't like a challenge and expected hot shots golf this isn't for you. Review 1 star person ^. This game has really anything and everything you would expect. If you truly take time to look at presentation, the rich grass, the feel of the crowd and such. They really did a great job. Gameplay is a sharp learning curve even for us Tiger Woods guys. The thing I would say is go into settings and tweak it. I took probably 2 hours to tweak everything I thought I needed or didn't need to make for a fair and challenging round of golf. I thought the custom character lacked a tad but overall you can get your appearance close. The only thing I wish i could change and I havent even looked. Is the button setup for changing shots and moving the cursor. I was so use to the directional pad and they like for you to use the left stick. The other thing that did also frustrate me was the meter below the feet trying to tell me when to swing and with how much power. I'm not sure about you guys but when I play I like to feel the shot, the putt, I know how much power with out having to look at something else. It felt like cheating to me so I turned it off....much better! As I said great job and lots to customize. The reason for the 4 is the graphics could be just a tad better, and it won't let me play career mode without being online. My wife and I do have a great time with it and if there were a way to give 4 and half i would. Hope this helps.

That is just someone who is upset this isn’t a Tiger Woods game. Guess what? It’s not supposed to be. The game is great with easy to master controls. You can customize the skill level in the game to fit your comfort and skill level. Read the reviews from the gaming websites. This game is well received with lots of great reviews.
