My wife and I use it multiple times a day and only have to worry about refilling water daily, and the beans weekly. Keep in mind that it will take quite a number of cups of coffee for the machine to "get into its groove" and brew the perfect cup. I recommend joining forums specific to this model, as well as using the Phillips site and associated videos for the best support, as initial use can be confusing.

I went through all set up procedures and it brewed a few cups of coffee, but was super loud and the drip tray kept filling up with water (after two brews). Before you jump on me, yes the water reservoir was connected fine after two days, the three warning lights were all flashing red. Unplugged, reset, went through the whole start up process, cleaned out the machine, cleaned out the internal part, and to no avail those three warning lights always kept blinking red. Manual said to call customer service, but at that point after two days, I just returned it then go through the hassle, as the machine clearly was defective. Best Buy staff was excellent when returning it.
