I exchange it from the 2200 that wasn't impressive. Four mo. on this expensive unit isn't good. Glad I insured it but gong to the local BB to have the team check it out.

I'm not sure if it's the machine or me but there was too high a milk to coffee ratio to suit my tastes. Maybe if the water fill sensor hadn't failed, I could have continued to adjust and make it to my taste.

The machine made too much noise and after 10 lattes , the filter was in need to be changed. Not worthy at all.

Defective product/leaks

Called Philips support, they sent me a new reservoir/tank and that didn't solve the problem. Called them again and they told me to return the machine to the store. Luckily I was still in Best Buy's 15-day return window so I took it back. Other reviews online show that other people had the same leaking issue. Also, note that the coffee setting doesn't make a regular cup of coffee (like drip-style). Instead it makes a shot of esspresso, then continues pouring water over the brewed coffee to fill the cup. It's closer to an Americano than a cup of coffee.

We didn't see much of a difference between this product and a $100 or less coffee maker. All of the options were nice, but were only average. The coffee maker began to grow mold inside even though it was routinely cleaned every could of days.
