Not worth the price.

The coffee taste watered down even after adjusting the settings. This is not worth the $800, save your money and buy any of the Jura

Watery Coffee

I followed all set up instructions and troubleshooting tips. I made at least 30 drinks and it was still watery. I wasted so many beans on this plastic hunk of junk. The pucks of coffee were mushy and not a fully formed puck like other espresso machines. My ninja coffee maker makes way better coffee than this.

Thank you for taking the time to write and sharing your experience with our Expresso machine. We're very sorry to hear about it because nobody deserves a watery coffee. This problem might be related a few reasons. The first of them is the brew group as it needs to be cleaned weekly. You must rinse the brew group thoroughly with lukewarm water under the tap and let it air-dry before placing it back.
Another possible solution is to re-adjust the grind setting to a coarser setting by turning the grinder setting knob inside the coffee bean container to a higher number or bigger coffee bean.
You can also increase the strength of the coffee by choosing the highest aroma setting, and set the grinder to a finer grind and select medium cup volume.
Alternatively, you can also check if the pre-ground coffee funnel is clogged. If so, switch OFF the machine and remove the brew group. Open the lid of the pre-ground coffee funnel and insert the spoon handle into it, and move the handle up and down until the clogged ground coffee is not blocking anymore.

Stopped working in 4 months!

The coffee was great when it worked. Now when I turn it on, the 3 warning lights just keep flashing. I tried the troubleshooting tips in the user manual as well what the support person suggested but still the same issue persists. Warranty support has opened a ticket but 4 emails later with receipts from my online Best Buy order are still asking for more PROOF that I indeed bought it from Best Buy. Very disappointing! I should have purchased Best Buy's warranty which I never do, at least would not have had to deal with the terrible Philips/Saeco support. Buy at your own risk!

I REGRET THIS PURCHASE!

It runs extremely slow, it is loud, and when I went from coffee beans to already ground coffee it took an act of congress (and an hour) just to get it to work correctly.

Not what i expected !!!

Bad joke avoid it

I seriously don't understand how anyone can give this high rating. A drip coffee maker makes better coffee. Out of the box and using illy classico beans this made watery tasteless espresso shots. Maximum aroma settings, finest grind settings, minimum shot size slightly inoroved but it's not an espresso. Considering it pulls a shot in 11 seconds it doesn't extract anything and there's almost no crema. Tried a cappuccino too and it was tiny, no foam, and tasteless. Went through all the troubleshooting steps and nothing made a significant difference. Called Phillips support - their advice was to give the machine time to adjust making juat a couple of coffees a day for a week or so. Seriously that is infuriating. Tell the customer not to use the appliance much for some time and waste beans on crappy coffe while supposedly the machine figures itself out. Obviously this is returning to the store. Do yourself a favor and if you want good coffee avoid this one.
