Malfunction in less than 2 weeks. Best Buy won't accept return, Philips won't take it back either. Check out "Philips 3200 not dispensing coffee" search results on Google- it's not just me.

The machine stopped working after 3 weeks. Had to order a replacement from the product warehouse.

This machine does make a great cup of coffee and isn’t too hard to use once you get the hang of it. Pros - Compact size - Built in water filter - Easy to clean - Great results with grounds or beans - Quick brewing Things to Consider - Even the lowest setting is still fairly strong - There is a lot of plastic - The milk frother seems flimsy and the lid easily falls off. It also gets in the way of some cups. - The single cup size is pretty small I did like the coffee and it is easy to clean. I like the design overall, but I am concerned that some of the plastics could easily break, which is a concern at this price point. I would recommend that you take a look at it in store if you can.

If you are a coffee fanatic this is definitely for you. Instead of spending obscene amounts of cash at your local coffee shop you can make some amazing lattes, expresso, iced coffee, etc drinks. I thought it would be difficult to use but it was super simple. Love the grinder also (one of my favorite smells is fresh ground coffee beans). Definitely pricey but if you spend a lot at shops the price is well worth it.

Avoid this coffee maker - it started smoking after a year. You make one coffee, for the next one stops working. Cleaned up and is still useless.

This machine made very watery coffee and espresso. Very disappointed. Spend the extra money to get a higher quality machine

Love this machine. It’s a favorite of our and guests. Fresh brewed coffee with a touch, as well as the ability to get fresh shots for all your favorite iced or hot coffees.

I coffee lover! I try 10 different coffee beans, 10 different brands! And all espresso shots tasted the same !

The #1 thing this coffee maker is missing is an alert when the *beans* are getting low. There isn't one. It tells you when water is low, when to empty the grounds, and when the wastewater is full but has nothing to tell you your low/out of beans! That said, I replaced my Mr. Coffee espresso machine + standalone bean grinder with this unit and am definitely happy with the results. The fact that I don't have to grind my own beans & pack a tamper saves quite a bit of time, and results in fresher and stronger coffee since before I would run a 2x espresso over the same grounds so I didn't have to do the whole process again. So far, the amount in each drink is as expected but it's nice that it's customizable from 1-3 as far as settings go. The latte maker does what you want, but IMO doesn't fill enough. For instance I don't know of an out-of-the-box setting that will get you what's shown in the picture; you'd have to customize the drink amount in order to make it happen and, even then, I'm pretty sure that only applies to coffee drinks if I read the instructions right. Overall it's a good unit for the price and works as advertised but could've been greatly improved w/ the addition of an alert that you're out of beans.

Upgraded to the 4300 phillips and love it! Easy cleaning and great coffee, did have to replace the water filter due to the one that came with it was missing an oring but its great!

Too complicated for a cup of coffee. All plastic parts. So much to clean.

I’m upset about this machine I bought a month ago and stop work

Product is great and we love it after 3 years of use. Grounded coffee is not brewing. I feel its a good product overall for someone who likes to drink coffee everyday. It costs upfront money but saves serious money in the long run. No need to run to starbucks.

The coffee is absolutely amazing but if you buy this, get the extended warranty… I did NOT and mine has broken so many times!!!! It is currently a paperweight but considering busting again with extended warranty.

Do not believe all the hype and reviews. This machine is NOT for a busy person nor anyone who understands coffee. Pros: It makes coffee It uses whole bean which COULD be cheaper to use It makes hot water It could make a few different drinks Cons: This thing does NOT make coffee that actually tastes even remotely OK! Anything it makes tastes like dirty water from washing coffee pot. Or at least mine does anyhow. Maybe its because it does not get nearly hot enough to extract the beans properly? Mine cant break 160 degrees in the HOT cup. And if cold milk is added than its just barely warm at the end. And everyone loves crappy cold coffee right? Ok well maybe its worth it because its so easy to live with? Only its NOT. Water tank it TINY and you need to fill it every 2 - 2.5 cups of coffee. It also will NOT tell you that its low on water (My $80 Keuring does!) and will proceed to make a cup just to stop somewhere half way. And everyone loves to expect their coffee done just to find that its NOT and cup still 1/2 empty and you need to fill the water tank. There is also waste tray full of dirty water which is guaranteed to leak all over your floor as you gingerly move it to the sink to empty out. What's that? Oh yeacks!!! There is a mold growing in the grinds bin? That's gross! How can it be it needs to be emptied out every 6 cups or so. Is it supposed to be washed and dried before putting it back in? Also bin full light will come on every so often for absolutely no reason when you are in the rush, of course. After fiddling with the tray it would go way. Bottom line - This machine does NOT make good coffee NOR easy to live with. I sent it back to the depot TWO times and both times it came back with them saying nothing wrong with it. So i think i will just throw it in the trash and count it as a loss. Learn from my mistakes and DO NOT get it.

I wanted to write this review strictly to go over cup sizes and coffee amounts. The x2 button makes about double the amount of the numbers below. Sometimes it was exactly double and others it was shy or over it, but expect double the amount for each size. The largest cup size can be adjusted for each cup but I did not do that and these are factory settings. I don’t recommend changing the large size but instead just brew more if you want a larger cup. All measurements are done by weight using an OXO coffee scale that was tared to 0.00 before each cup was made. This is as accurate as I could get it. The grind of the coffee stayed the same (medium setting) the entire time since this doesn’t affect the amount of liquid in the cup. There are three settings you can choose: 1) amount of beans being ground, 2) amount of water going through beans into your cup, 3) amount of milk being frothed. We have had this for 3 years. It makes excellent coffee. We generally make 4-5 cups per day. Starts to smell of you do t wash it every few days. Other than that we love it.

Can't ask for a better espresso machine. You can customize the machine to your liking. You can really do it all with this robot to make the perfect drinks.

As described, works well. Good size, does not take much space. Coffee is hot unlike in many other models. Easy to use milk throttle.
