The best I've ever owned
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had a Saeco Vienna semi-automatic for over 15 years and decided to look into a fully automatic unit. The 3200 checks all the boxes. Fully adjustable drink strength and size, several different types of drinks, easy to clean, large water reservoir and bean holder, one-time ground coffee option, and the adjustable coffee dispenser handles almost any sized cup/mug. I was hesitant on the frother but what a surprise...it works!! Really clever system. The only small negative would be that there is no cycle for just frothing. Some people have reviewed that the instructions were confusing and difficult to set up...I may have had the advantage of having my Saeco (which Philips bought) but if you just have patience and do trial and error with the adjustments you will not be disappointed. For the money this does the same, if not more, than units that are twice the cost.

So happy I bought this
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very well designed. Easy to use, coffee is very good. So great to have automatic machine especially when trying multi task breakfast. Took a little experimentatin to get the settings to mg liking, but that was fun. Was somewhat of an impulse purchase and very happy I acted on the impulse.

Not the best long term option
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We used it to make 3 cups per day on average. It was a great machine for about 7 months and then things began to go bad on it. Very strange noises, the buttons stopped working correctly, and eventually it just stopped making coffee all together

JUST BUY IT
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've been wanting a new espresso machine for awhile. With a newborn and working at home, I just don't have time to manually make an espresso and froth milk in the morning. I can eat or make coffee, never have time for both. So when I came across this machine, I was interested but put off by the price. After a few weeks of debating and a ton of research, I decided to purchase this and I am SO glad I did! It saves me so much time and I can make a coffee in less than 5 minutes. The milk container is so convenient, I just fill it full and put whatever is left back in the fridge for later. I will say there's a slight learning curve, even though it is fully automatic. It's really just trial and error until you find out your preferred settings. It has the ability to use pre ground coffee, which is awesome for decaf. Works just as well. When you love coffee as much as I do and have zero time to make one manually...this is a necessity.

Excellent
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bye bye coffee capsules! It was such a waste of money. This machine is excellent, makes delicious coffee at the push of a button. Easy to clean and operate. Just wish the water reservoir were a little bigger. No other complaints. For me it’s even better than description.

Best money I have ever spent
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love it, It is like having your own coffee shop in your kitchen. You will occasionally have to replace the rubber orange but it's a very simple thing, finding them online is the tough part. Wish Best Buy carried them as a maintenance part.

Great coffee machine!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this coffeemaker for the office and everyone loves it! It’s simple to use, easy to clean and to have your freshly ground coffee in the morning is great! I compared prices and this is hands down the most affordable option for this kind of appliances.

Worth every penny
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. From an overly picky coffee drinker, this was worth the money. I have always been way to picky about my coffee and I wanted to write a review stating I am impressed with this machine. If you have the money and take coffee seriously then this is your machine.

The Philips 3200 has exceeded are expectations.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We had been using a Ninja machine for the past several years, with no complaints, but when we purchased the Philips 3200, it was a night and day experience. The rich taste of the coffee from the Philips was right out of a bistro. You don’t realise how much of the coffee bean is wasted on drip coffee systems, until you try a machine, like the 3200. It took us a week to learn how to get the most out of the 3200, as far as combining coffee only and latte or cappuccino combo’s, but once we had the learning behind us, we have loved our morning coffee. It does use more beans than the Ninja system, but that is the price for rich coffee flavour. The frothier system works great and clean up is simple. Highly recommend the 3200, if you enjoy great coffee with multiple options.

Amazing Espresso Maker
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Prior to this, we have had a couple units that were manual based espresso makers, grind separately, tamp down, and brew, use the wand to froth the milk. Then we discovered the Delonghi Magnifica, and went through two of those units over a 10 year span. After our second unit died, we looked for something more automatic, that could make the whole latte in one shot. Enter the Philips Lattego. I am very impressed with it. It's simple to use, you put the beans in the top, water reservoir off to the right, keep those topped off and the waste bin empty, fill the milk carafe as needed. Not much else to it. It makes excellent cappuccino's with just the right amount of foam, and macchiato lattes that use the whole carafe of milk. I really have nothing negative to say about it. Just wish it held more beans, had a larger waste bin, and held more milk, just so I could do more of them at a time...

Gold Standard Super Automatic
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've been known to go throw many different coffee-making contraptions in search of a perfect cuppa, enter the Philips/Saeco 3200. For the price point, nothing else is close in terms of super automatics, especially if you enjoy a milk-based drink with the "LatteGo" milk carafe automatic milk frother. The 3200 really takes most of the guesswork out of making what I would call a fantastic shot of espresso, cappuccino, latte macchiato, or even brewed coffee. There is plenty of other information out there on the settings I won't deep dive into, but you can adjust the volume of coffee/espresso brewed, the number of beans per shot, the volume of milk for a milk-based drink, the temperature of brew, and the integrated bean hopper has an adjustable grinder. Dailing in all these settings can take some time, and obviously can change between users and if you change beans frequently as I do. The machine autosaves your last settings for each beverage type but does not have a user setting to flip flop between multiple coffee drinkers in the house that like their cappuccinos, for example, differently. Something to bear in mind. After living with it for a couple of months now, my main gripes; 1) The power button for some must be pushed insanely hard to get the machine to turn on. The other buttons I would describe as "normal" effort push. This doesn't sound like a big deal but I inevitably, still after months of daily use, will still have a couple of days in a week where bleary-eyed and half asleep go to wake up the espresso machine and hit the power button for it to warm up while I start on my toast, come back to the espresso machine ready to make a cuppa and it's still off because I didn't push the power button on with the force of 1000 men. 2) It auto powers off after about 20 minutes of inactivity. This is about perfectly right at the time of when I'd like a 2nd shot. I wish this could be changed or altogether disabled (Maybe it can? I can't find the setting). 3) There are two main failure modes that will completely prevent the machine for even starting to warm up, which takes about 2-3 minutes. One is if the machine is out of water. The other is if the drip tray or grounds bin is full- or at least if the machine thinks it is. It keeps track of how many cups it's done and has a counter that simply goes off. This bothers me because I empty the bean bin and drip tray almost nightly but this warming light will still go off after X amount of cups, even though it isn't full. 4) The LatteGo milk carafe is a bit of a laugh. The lid just sits on top of the container, and since it's a rectangle, it can easily fall inside the carafe. And it will. The lid really should have a hinge or way to secure it. Or at least make the lid in a shape so it can't fall inside the vessel. The above complaints may make it seem like I don't like my 3200, but really, I do. These are exceedingly minor design and functionality critiques, because the 3200 really, really pulls an excellent shot, and milk-based beverages are foolproof. Everyone I have made a drink for has immediately asked: "Where did you buy this and how much did it cost?" fully anticipating a 4-figure price tag. Don't hesitate, you will not regret it if you are on the fence!

Great Machine for all coffee and espresso drinks
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a simple to use great value super automatic espresso/coffee maker. The LatteGo makes making those specialty drinks so easy. I am an espresso drinker that likes rich intense flavors with a full body. This machine delivers. It does not quite make an espresso with the full body as my Breville Barista Express; however, the convenience is worth what little I loose in body. HOT TIP: you must make at least 10 espressos before the machine automatically adjusts for a more full body. I run this on the second to the finest grinder setting with the most espresso beans and the least amount of water with a continental (very dark) roast.

Great machine at a great price
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This makes great coffed. I think this machine will last a long time and be very reliable. 1. all buttons are touch sensitive, so nothing to break. 2. it has a vent right above the coffee bin remain hopper. So no moisture trap inside, so no mold issue. 3. the coffee brewing unit can be taken out and rinse with water to clean. 4. the milk frothing system is also super easy to use and clean. You may lose the manual control, but it's super easy to clean more than make up for it. If you only need the coffee and espresso function just get the 1200 model, and save yourself $400 bucks. These are better than my last espresso machine. ENA from JURA.

LOVE this item
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Did a ton of research and ended up with this machine for Christmas. I debated going with something that requires more energy so there could be the opportunity to do "latte art", but ultimately decided that I preferred ease of that. Set-up was SUPER easy (read the instructions, seriously) and it has been great since we set it up. We use this item multiple times a day and cannot be happier with the coffee we get every time. I thought that we would keep our other coffee machine for pots of coffee, but this makes our drinks SO much better. Saving a lot of money from going to Starbucks now :) -- worth every penny to purchase this
