Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I usually prefer the close-shave results from a triple-blade manual shaver, but I was looking for an inexpensive electric shaver to use for those once-in-a-while mornings when I needed to quickly shave a one or two day old growth of beard. I admit I chose the Philips Norelco 3500 series Wet/Dry Electric Shaver primarily on cost, but also because it was an updated version of the old Norelco triple-head rotary shaver I occasionally used in the past. This new Norelco replaces that old shaver because the it would no longer take and keep a charge after a more than decade of occasional use. Unfortunately, I am disappointed with the results of shaving with this shaver. Shaving my slightly less than medium-weight beard with this shaver leaves too much stubble. These results are good enough for me and not enough for me to return this unit and seek something that will perform better.
