I had a Roku stick in another room and it fit perfect as the Roku stick has a slightly slimmer remote. I swapped remotes and realized they wouldn't work but after resyncing both Roku remotes they worked fine and the companion works great operating both my Samsung TV and Samsung Sound bar 60T.

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Was on vacation and the villa had a smart TV, however, it only had a direct TV, so you couldn't get to the apps. I started looking for a universal remote that I could use there but, more importantly, that I'd use at home, cause I'd been wanting one for the man cave anyway. My first thought was to spend $50 or more for a "quality remote", but I couldn't justify spending that much on a resort TV. So, because I have Roku tvs, and I use a firestick on all of them, I decided to go with this. Got it back to the villa and was immediately glad I bought it. Then got it home, added my firestick to the back, and was online ordering 2 more the next day. More than worth it.

That little roku remote always gets lost between the couch cushions or by my toddler. I do think that they should have separated the volume and power buttons on the side because it's easy to mix them up in the dark.

I subsequently used with another model that did fit in the ROKU “remote holder” but the product did not operate that ROKU despite being factory programmed for ROKU streamers. Further, it did not properly run my Sony receiver. Only worked with TV! Very disappointed in product.

Roku remote
