Not all Universal Remotes Work....

Unfortunately after trying the provided codes to sync multiple times, it just would not work. Even called customer service (for the remote) who was nice but no additional help. And of course I waited too long to even set it up and now the remote is non-returnable to Best Buy. Where's my hammer?

Good universal remote paired w/ incompatible Roku

However, it's defining feature is it's ability to fit a Roku remote in it's cradle on the backside. This Phillips remote was sold as a package offered by Best Buy with the Roku Voice Remote Pro. Unfortunately, the Voice Remote Pro does NOT fit in the Phillips remote and I've come to learn any Roku remote with side controls (like volume, etc) will not fit. It's pretty irresponsible of Best Buy to be pairing the Phillips remote with a Roku remote that is not compatible.

Phillips Roku universal remote

Side buttons sometimes lose sync. But it kills having to use multiple remotes so I'm down with all of that.

Was very easy to set up and has a nifty little slot for a roku remote to slide into for safe keeping. Was able to connect to my surround sound as well.

I added padding to where the Roku remote is supposed to go and put my Fire remote, works great for that! It’s connected to a Samsung tv, easy-peasy setup.

It took a while for my Samsung to work with it, if I was to purchase again, Id get an all in one.

This replaces a Logitech programmable remote that Logitech stopped making. This new remote works better. Pairing the remote to our TV, sound bar, and Blu-ray player was easy. Well worth the cost if you are a heavy Roku user.

However there are few issues like the Blue and Green button both have same codes and they both work for just one function. My TCL TVs setting cannot be launched with this remote so need to use old remote for that puspose, rest functions looks good.
