This item works better than I was expecting. I actually could have used it without inserting my Roku remote but it is a convenient way to store it. I purchased the remote becasue I lost the original remote for an old TV and this one works great.

Helpful way to make a roku remote a universal remote. The battery placement is rather strange and you have to place the roku remote befor putting in the batteries. More annoyingly, you have to remove the batteries of the phillips remote if you need to get at the roku remote (battery changes).

Its a little bit big for my hand. other than that I like it

Changed my remotes to this all in one easily. It doesn't come with an additional Roku remote, you just insert existing Roku remote inside of it.

We needed to somehow control the volume on a ROKU TV since our remotes volume no longer functioned correctly. This Philips device was suggested by a Best Buy employee and it completely solved our problem by adapting to our ROKU remote. We highly recommend this universal remote control.

I really like that it turns the TV and Roku remotes into one unit. My only dislike is having the volume buttons on the side. I would have preferred the input buttons be on the side of the remote. Overall I am pretty happy with it so far.

It works great so far, no issues. The only thing I would say would make it better is that you wouldn't need two sets of batteries. If they could find a way to connect the Roku control to the universal control and only need to insert batteries in one slot, that would be way better!

This remote changed the life of my elderly mother!! She can operate the TV antenna and the ROKU programming without dual remotes.

It's nice not having the TV remote and the tiny little roku remote just hanging around somewhere, and more importantly, after a month-ish, I felt like I lost the roku remote less just for it being part of this universal remote, it makes it bigger, which also makes it easier to hold in hand. I just can't stand the tiny little remotes for any streaming device on market (they make one for firetv remotes too). Only thing that's an issue is it becomes a whole process to change batteries as the bottom has to be screwed on so the roku remote stays in. So you gotta unscrew 2 screws on bottom to get it off, and you have to take the batteries out of universal remote to then be able to slide the roku remote out. But there's no other place for the batteries to go, and generally it takes a long time before they'd die anyway, it's a minor inconvenience

I got this for my Roku tv. The box indicates it will work with it I wanted the numerical channel option. One of my favorite channels is 629… that’s a lot of scrolling to get to it. Sadly that feature of this did not work. It just did the same things the original Roku remote did, so I returned it. I’m sure for a different tv, it would work just fine.

Just didn’t work for me. Certainly better than the one that came with the tv, but I took this one back

The opening in back for roku remote is redundant. If i had a roku remote to put in the back, i wouldn't have needed a replacement roku remote to begin with. Hard to figure out how to use but it works fine.

Kind of annoying to have buttons on both sides but it works

This is the best remote. No more looking for remotes. Just turn your remote over and you have your Roku.

It can be awkward to hold and not push multiple buttons at times. Takes some getting used to but if you need to run a Roku tv, sound bar and cable box, it does the job! Most remotes I found did 2 of the 3 only or were hundreds of dollars

I had several different roku remotes and 1 did not fit but the 4k streaming remote slid in just fine. Make sure to remove the 2 very tiny screws in the bottom of the remote to slide in the roku.
