    I wasn’t successful setting up this remote. The Geek Squad was not successful either. Hoping Best Buy will let me return this remote!

    All codes need to be reset after battery replacement. Must push a button to light up keys but that confuses the remote.

    I purchased this remote to replace the one that came with my Onkyo receiver. This remote works great! It is simple to set up so several units in my home theater can be controlled by this one remote. I had eight (8) remotes but now only one.

    Given the extra buttons you have to press to switch between devices, and its non intuitive interface, it’s actually less convenient than having a pile of different remotes. How Philips managed to create a device so shockingly bad I’ll never know.

    Waste of money

    No DVR button on the remote. No Guide button on the remote. Only a menu button but when clicked, the ok button is so sensitive you can’t even move from one option to next. Total waste of money for me.
