This strip works great paired with the Hue Sync Play Box. The only downside is that it does not wrap around the whole TV, only the top and sides.

THE best thing you can add to your TV experience. Most importantly, it makes it so much easier to watch TV/movies in the dark. Secondly, it adds a whole new dimension to movies and games.

These lights are so much fun. I have a slew of hue bulbs in my living room I have used to sync to the TV. I thought this would be a minor improvement, but wow, these really added to the experience. So much so, if I were in a smaller space, I could see getting away with just this strip, the hub, and the HDMI sync. Installation is easy. I put them on a 77in tv and just had to eye ball what worked best. The tape on the mounts isn’t overly aggressive and allows for a couple attempts at getting the placement right.

Works well and works better with the sync box. Can be awkward installing it does not stay attached well. Other than that love it.

It’s a good light strip don’t get me wrong, but for the price I’m not sure it’s worth it. You need an additional $300 Phillips hue sync box to use any of the cool features of the strip. I bought mine open box from bestbuy for $99 which was a good price but the corner pieces that the strip is supposed clip into were both broken so I had to use double sided tape instead.

This is a great product! I got the 75 inch for my 75 inch tv and it is amazing! I paired this with sync box, bridge, and hue bulbs in the ceiling can lights and it makes the whole room come alive when watching tv. The lights are controlled by an app and can either be synced, (if you buy the sync box and a bridge), to the colors on the tv or made to stay any color you choose. I really enjoy just watching the lights change with the colors on the tv.

Absolute game changer when it comes to movies and crazy scenes. Definitely would recommend pairing it with a good quality audio system. makes movies much more immersive and fun to watch.

I was lucky when the total member price dropped and decided to try it out on diner tv we had set up, and since then it has been great for the family. Have had it for at least a year now with no issues.

This is a must for any Philips Hue user. The unit itself blends seamlessly into the back of the tv. The ambient light is great, but prepare to be amazed once you start syncing the gradient with the Philips Hue Play HDMI sync box! Setup is easy and color accuracy is amazingly on point with images on your screen. Makes movies and music videos a truly immersive experience. The music function turns any home into the ultimate party house as a bonus. Must buy!

Adds a nice ambiance to my tv area. Pretty expensive for what it is, but that’s Hue for ya.

The whole Hue Lightstrip + Sync Box setup is expensive for what it does, but it really is worth it. The light strip is easy to install and works incredibly well. The good: -Stunning lighting effect that really does sync up with the content displayed on your TV -Easy to install -Unobtrusive The bad: -Requires a very expensive setup just to use -Sync box cant display 4K at over 60 FPS which makes it not ideal for next gen gaming (though the lightstrip works fabulously)

Phillips really set this up to work pretty flawlessly…. given you have a stron wifi router. After these were added to our tv, it really enhanced movie night and pretty much every game on the PS5.

Hue is expensive. This is one of the most expensive items they sell. If you have a sync box it’s worth every penny because it’s about 7-8 lights built into 1. I was not impressed by the sync box because I thought it was just distracting during movies when I had my normal bulbs linked up to it. This has changed that and created a new immersive experience in my home theater. 100% buy if you are into Hue lights and have the sync box.

Love how it enhanced our movie and gaming experience. Easy setup and only took a few minutes to setup. Definitely recommend if you don’t have one.

Love this. Philips Hue is a great system and this is a great addition. The unit installs behind your television and incluides all necessary brackets and parts. Once setup and programmed into your Hue Bridge and Sync it lights up. It is fast to update to what's on the screen and the gradent feature allows the light to change on the lightstrip to whatever is on the screen near it. This makes your television feel much larger.
