The light strips are great and work great when used with the HDMI Sync Box. That being said, I'm not sure the whole setup is worth the price for what it adds to your at home viewing experience. I think it's a little overpriced and doesn't add as much to that experience as I would have hoped. I don't think this is for everyone, especially given the high price.

Oh yeah / pairing this up w a Hue Sync -- this brings out the immersion of movie watching. It is something else. There's a reason why these sell out so fast. The things I don't like about it is the price (its sort of expensive) and its designed for no zones to go on the bottom; which is perplexing. I guess they want us to shell out more for play bars or hue go units.

Great Lights, a must buy for any avid entertainer. You can buy them separately, but to get the most use out of them I recommend purchasing the Phillips Hue Sync Box. Also, measure the back of the TV first, the light strip come in different sizes, don't go by your screen size alone. I have a curve TV and I could have gone with a larger size.

One of the best investments I’ve made into my movie/tv watching experience. I absolutely love how well it enhances the experience and when I’m at a friends watching something that doesn’t have it you can instantly tell and you really miss it. Worth it completely even though you need the bridge and the sync box. So it’s definitely an investment but I feel I’ve gotten my moneys worth back and more with it.

This is a nice addition to the living room. I have the gradient strip connected to my hue app and it works great with the HDMI Sync Box. It adds a unique feeling of immersion when watching movies or playing games. Even without the sync features, this is a great light to add great ambience to your wall.

Game Changing for immersion in games and movies. Expensive.

gradient is PERFECT! Only thing sucks is that it only works with 3rd part apps. Like through fire sticks/cube/TV. That’s the only reason for it not earning the last star.. but besides that.. I use it everyday!!!!!!! Makes the room set the mood.. either it’s party, movies, or music videos.. I got many ppl trying to have the same set up!! I LOVE IT!! Thanks for making it Philip Hue

Really great light, though does not cover bottom of TV and also has poor connections. Fairly bright with vibrant coloring, power plugin isn't solid. I had to return my original for a second because if the power cable was not positioned and moved at all, the power to the strip would flicker. On the 2nd purchase, it still has that issue, but not as bad.

Expensive but worth it . Sticky pads that come with dont hold the weight of the LED strip so you have to use other means but works well and we love it . I wish they mad a kit for 85 inch but it doesnt go around the whole tv so you have to buy the Bars to make it work around the whole tv.

I paired this with my Hue Sync Box and my other Hue lights. It fits perfectly (with a bit of modification) on my 55” Sony A80K OLED TV. It works so well. The entire experience is so much more immersive after adding this to the setup. Highly recommend

Really impressed with these thus far. Still early on in the process so cannot speak to longevity but so far, so good. Easy to install (85" tv), easy to connect, and was a breeze getting it synced to my bridge and sync box. Will definitely be adding more of the Philips Hue tech to my system.

Was easy to install by myself. Instructions were were very to the point and easy to follow, as well. I would recommend them if you plan on changing the ambiance of your entertainment.

Light is great but the adhesive is not the best. It started to drop after a few weeks but will start for a few days after re-pressing.

It's wonderful streaming and playing video games in a dark room with this. I find myself not wanting to do either until after sundown. Major improvement over the bars. It was expensive at $200 and it's ridiculously expensive after Philips increased the price to $230. It's also very surprising that we can't program zones via the Hue app.

Works great. Easy to set up. There is another app you have to download to control it with the tv to sync the light but it can also be used with the regular hue app and bridge as a normal light so it’s on when the “living room” lights are on and then switches to mirror the TV when I turn it on. Worth it!

Ya it's expensive, but you already knew that...this thing is completely unnecessary, BUT also a must-have for anyone looking for the next level movie night or video gaming experiences. The colors are bright and the transition speeds are near perfect. Bite the bullet and buy it. You will not regret it!

Bought this for my Samsung QN95B, only reason I’m giving it 4/5 stars is the adhesive on the clips do not stick very well to the textured backing of the TV. Ended up having to order 3rd party ones of eBay to get them to stick.

I bought the Philips hue bridge with the philips sync box and 65" lights. The set up for the lights was easy. My hue bridge found the lights no problem. If you have $600 to blow for some lights, bridge, and sync box and wanna make family movie night the best experience than yeah go for it. I wouldn't really it to a friend because they cant afford it.
