Really nice light love the design. It's one expensive gimmick. If you like the hue lights likeyself and are unwise with your money, pull the trigger.

Looks amazing! just wish it wasn't so expensive once you add this and the sync you need to make it all work.

These were so easy to install and are beautiful. The colors are vibrant and rich. Really helps make my room comfortable.

Absolutely love mine. Takes movie watching to a new level. Lights envelop the room. It's especially fun when watching Pixar and Disney animated movies that are extra colorful. They also double as ambient lighting to make the room any color you want. It's a major upgrade from philips last model. Only issue I am having is the lights randomly quit syncing and just become a solid white light. Maybe an update will fix it. I have to exchange mine because the corner leds won't change color.

Really enjoy how these lights enhance my films and games. When watching tv shows I usually just leave them on a solid light.

The effect that this provides when watching movies or tv shows is not for everyone but for me it gives the illusion of watching something on a way larger screen than you have. I was already a fan of how well the hue play bars work and the 7 lighting zones that this has makes the lighting effect more reactive to what's on screen. Either a sync box or sync app on a PC is required for maximum enjoyment and the adhesive that comes with it is way too strong. If you don't want to ruin your TV use some double sided mounting tape instead of the included adhesive.

Amazing, Fun and engaging. This brings watching movies to life. Even listening to music is a gem because it will play the lights based on sound which is awesome for small parties. I can’t imagine not watching or listening without it. You won’t regret buying this as it will change your whole watching experience. You will need to buy a Hue bridge and the Hue Play Sync Box in order to function which will be a pretty penny but other than that it’s truly life changing. Your family will enjoy entertainment night every night! Enjoy!

These new gradient lights are very nice, sync up nicely using the hdmi box, and is pretty easy to install behind our TV.

Awesome little addition to the Hue setup if you have the Sync Box and all that's required to make this little gadget work. I originally purchased it for a bull whip rave I was attending but then realized how it worked and so I decided to pick up the Sync Box and use it on my TV instead. When the Sync Box cooperates, the Lightstrip works as it's intended and adds a nice little enhanced layer of light to the scene on the screen. I think that Philips is close to getting it right but there are still a few kinks in the Sync Box that hold back this TV setup from truly shining.

Combine this with the HDMI Sync box & this will impress you & your friends. It's pricey but I haven't seen a light strip that comes close yet.

The Hue Gradient Strip works so much better and so much more immersive than the play bars. You Cant go wrong with these
