If you want the light strip to work in sync with your tv or video game console make sure you purchase the “Hue Bridge, and Hue Sync Box” the light strip by itself does not sync to your tv. That being said I did purchase the sync box and the bridge along with 2 light bars and it made my gaming and movie nights 100x better! Definitely recommend these products although a bit on the pricey side.
