Customers are saying

Customers have good things to say about the product's adjustable brightness, overall performance, and ease of use, noting its quick installation. Many appreciate how it enhances immersion and changes the room's ambiance, with the sync box working flawlessly. However, some find the product to be pricey and mention that the adhesive may not last long. Additionally, there are concerns regarding the sync box's HDMI 2.0 limitation and lack of compatibility with next-gen consoles.

Cost Too Much, Installation a Pain

I did not realize that in addition to the $249 lights that you also had to buy a $50. If you wanted to sync video to the light strip then you had to spend another $249 for a sync box. Installation was a pain in the rear end, the included guides didn't hold the lights. If you end up getting this light system consider an alternate adhesive and mounting method, it'll save you a ton of frustration. On the plus side the software Phillips offers is pretty good, pretty easy to setup and use. People who already immersed into the Hue ecosystem will find it easy to setup and use. The lights themselves are cool looking and worked well right out of the box. You may tweak things like brightness to your liking but overall it works. In closing these lights are nice and easy to use but installation and cost are annoying. I returned these and got the Govee Immersion lights that do the same thing for $70 without all extras Hue requires.

    Waste of Money

Don’t waste your money buying this. The adhesive it comes with lasted me about 6 months before they fell down. I’ve now bought multiple sizes of clips, adhesives, and mounting tape and absolutely nothing will keep these lights up. Shouldn’t have to be work this hard for lights that already cost $260.

    Cool idea, poor execution

When it works it’s good but it just doesn’t. If using Samsung tv app it’s a total nightmare and support cannot help. The only option they suggest is to factory reset your tv. If you do want to buy this, make sure you only do month to month subscription.

Falls off after 2 years of use

Don’t expect it to last more than 2 years. The strip will inevitably fail and fall off, and when it does, you will end up breaking your monitor. It was fine until today.

    Constantly falling off the tv

I've had this for probably close to 2yrs now and the mounting hardware has NEVER stayed stuck to the tv longer than a few days. The light itself works fine, but it's bulky and awkward to try and bend into shape. It's ok if you don't mind constantly reattaching the hardware/strip to the tv. But in hindsight I would have spent my money on the lightbars instead.

I really would like my money back. I thought these would work but it’s a nightmare to setup. The 3mm tape that comes with them are garbage. The angle for this is also garbage. Everything about this is garbage. I’m very disappointed with this. I would never recommend this to anyone at all

Didn't get too much out of the Play experience as I was hoping for, for how much it costs. Returning.
