Expensive but works well
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It works really well the app and connection can be quite buggy at time s but other than that it’s great, would be nice if there was more information to recommend to get the sync box as well and wish it wasn’t another 250 but it does work really well

Good idea but…..
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Ok, as they work fine & attach better than the other type but preferred the fact that the other type went all the way around the tv. Also you should know there’s a serious problem no one can fix -including Amazon - linking Alexa with Hue for verbal commands like my older one did. Try working with Hue & Amazon tech - good luck!! Clueless & each rep has a different solution…if you get them to call back.

fool for the Hue
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.great product, I have one on all 3 of my televisions, love the prism and fireplace fx and when paired with the Sync Box it’s awesome and immersive. But God forbid it stays attached to the back of the television, pops off constantly, i’m about to try gorilla super glue wish me luck. And holy cow are the power cord connection fragile, look at it wrong and it breaks. Love Best Buy for letting me swap out for a new one at no extra cost a year and a half later because of this second problem. I would still buy this product again, and obviously have already twice since the first despite those 2 glaring issues of which Philips Hue dept. have ignored.

Phillips you did it again
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love this item. It has really enhance my living room and entertainment set up. It is quite pricey, but I think it is worth every dime. My biggest issue is the set up, but it is still a very excellent condition to my entertainment center. It does nicely sync with what you are watching on TV which, again enhances your living room

||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The best synced ambiance light strip for behind the TV on the market today but it is defiantly $$$

Great light easy setup
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Upgraded to this from some play lights. The light is much better. It fills the whole space behind the tv with no gaps. Mounts with 3m strips on brackets. The strip is separate from the mounts. Works great with the hdmi sync box. You can not control the gradient of the strip though. The hue app treats it as one light and you can only set it to one color. If you use it with the sync box you can get multiple colors out of it.

good light strip with a ok ecosystem
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Looks great behind the tv but all I can use it for is a light right now because I will not be buying the tv sync box until it supports HDMI 2.1 or eARC for light sync because I do 4k 120hz on my xbox where I watch movies from so it only supporting 2.0 is a deal breaker and it is ungodly expensive for just a addressable RGB strip and all of hue power strips should have this gradient and be addressable

You’ll need additional products to make it work!
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This product is amazing and such a next generation addition to any home theater set up… except for one fatal flaw. What’s not made clear when first purchasing is that you need the Phillips sync box and the Phillips hue bridge as well. What starts with a $200+ purchase, turns into a $500+ investment that nobody signed up for! This product works and sync amazing but since it’s so misleading I dropped a star!

Great Light
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you want to buy the Hue Play Sync Box, this is the lighting source you want. The seven zones really allow the syncing to match the scenes. It would be helpful if it could use all seven without the syncing, but that is not an option at this time. Be aware that some TVs make this awkward to attach to the back. Look at the layout of how it is to be installed and make sure your TV will allow for it.

Great light strip.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great light strip. The color is bright and really goes with whatever you’re watching on tv. I put this on an 86 inch tv and it works and looks great. No need to add additional lighting.

Love what it does
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love the way the light comes off of this around my TV. I had regular strips up before and it was all one color. However, I bought the 55" for my 60" TV because it said it was good up to 65" and I have found it to be too small. I could move the strip in more, but I am afraid the adhesive won't work if I take it off and move it. Also, I have trouble getting the strip to stay in the clips. But once I get it in there, it's good.

Pricey but worth it
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was hesitant to buy into the Philips Hue ecosystem because they’re so expensive. But thanks to a discount code and rewards points it softened that blow and I couldn’t be happier with these lights. I’ve used cheap light strips in the past which are ok, but add these with some other Hue lights and it completely transforms your room.

Great product if you use its features
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought the gradient lightstrip along with the hue sync box. If you don’t have the hue sync box, the standard hue lightstrips will probably work fine for you. That said, Philips just released an update for the gradient lightstrip that allows you to manually control the different light zones. Personally I would have been fine with the standard hue lightstrip.
