Add this to the sync box for your TV and get ready for a whole new experience when watching media. This set up was easy to install on the tv and has been very reliable over the last year.

Really impressed with these thus far. Still early on in the process so cannot speak to longevity but so far, so good. Easy to install (85" tv), easy to connect, and was a breeze getting it synced to my bridge and sync box. Will definitely be adding more of the Philips Hue tech to my system.

This is quite possibly the best add on to any TV. The lighting creates an immersive viewing experience. Easy to install and set up.

It's wonderful streaming and playing video games in a dark room with this. I find myself not wanting to do either until after sundown. Major improvement over the bars. It was expensive at $200 and it's ridiculously expensive after Philips increased the price to $230. It's also very surprising that we can't program zones via the Hue app.

Works great. Easy to set up. There is another app you have to download to control it with the tv to sync the light but it can also be used with the regular hue app and bridge as a normal light so it’s on when the “living room” lights are on and then switches to mirror the TV when I turn it on. Worth it!

Ya it's expensive, but you already knew that...this thing is completely unnecessary, BUT also a must-have for anyone looking for the next level movie night or video gaming experiences. The colors are bright and the transition speeds are near perfect. Bite the bullet and buy it. You will not regret it!

I love and enjoy the light. My advice to buyers, review the install instructions in the hue app. It is much better than the "picture" instructions. It suggests have a friend help which is great advice. I've had them a few months and they are still working well.

Bought this for movies and gaming and it doesn’t disappoint. The hue sync app or device is a must and is required for this product to work as intended with your movies and games. Either download the hue sync app for free on your PC or purchase the sync device for $229. I docked 1 star off because of the high price.

Got a defective batch of refurbished but have on other tv, works great. I currently have several which can be fun if spaced out enough...the strip on the back of the tv is easy to install, just be sure to leave at least a foot on each side for lites. The connectors seem never be secure, plugs out etc...

I bought the Philips hue bridge with the philips sync box and 65" lights. The set up for the lights was easy. My hue bridge found the lights no problem. If you have $600 to blow for some lights, bridge, and sync box and wanna make family movie night the best experience than yeah go for it. I wouldn't really it to a friend because they cant afford it.

I bought these to use with a Hue Sync Box, these lights are very responsive and seem to be able to create more colors than your usual unbranded strips. I have a little issue with the clips that hold it up on the TV. The strip itself is so hefty and heavy that it will fall off the clip sometimes.

This is amazing! I bought this to go on my 65" TV so I can put it right on the edge and it works great! I needed this in case I upgrade my television in the future. You don't event need the Hue Play SyncBox, as long as you run the app from a PC/Mac - works just as good!

This light strip will not work with apple tv or other gaming console unless connected to hue hdmi hub, connecting this with sync app in computer (pc or mac) will only make this work for audio / video from the computer. I now have to wait to buy hdmi sync hub to work with apple tv & console, till then this is a expensive night lamp

Sync up with your movies and music, work very nice and easy to set up; don’t stick it too close to the edge of your tv; the cable core is not that long so plan which side you want to put it, Philips do have an extension core for extra $ I paired up with my light bars in my room and don’t need any other lights

Love mostly all Philips Hue products! The Play Lightstrips are spendy but worth it. Putting regular lightstrips on the back of a TV is a lot of work and very tedious and time consuming. It's defintiely worth the money and takes less than 5 minutes to install.

A nice sturdy piece. Get ready to take the tv off of the wall and I cant stress this enough, make sure that you are aware of the amount of lights that you are dedicating to this project and the space that you are using. The lights will take over the entire room and it will drive you up a tree if youre not ready for all that action

As with all Philips products, very high quality and works very well, but also costly. If you have the Hue ecosystem then it's a no brainer to add products if the budget is there.

It’s average. Has bright vibrant colors but do not buy unless you plan on spending an additional amount of money to buy the actual item that connects it to your TV. Too much money for not a lot of use unless you pay more money to add the extra use.
