I use the bulbs with an Amazon Echo, and the system works very well. It is very convenient.

Bought this product for when I’m away from home. Works great

I may not show as verified purchaser, but I did buy the starter kit at the nearby Best Buy store. So far, I have only the two lights in my man cave, and they are perfect for this. Using the convenient presets, I can switch them both on at whatever level I wish and brighten or dim as necessary for TV viewing or visiting. They may also be controlled individually, on or off and dimmed. Installation was simple and worked just right the first time. Be aware: The hub requires its own AC power and must be connected with the supplied cable to your wifi router. The app downloaded quickly and worked right away. I have a much more sophisticated voice capability on my Motorola Moto X than Siri, but haven't yet tried to connect this to Hue. You can rename each light or fixture to describe where it is in your setup. The lamps or fixtures may also be switched off and on with their own switches. If you switch it off, then back on, it comes on full bright. The switch must be left on for the phone app to work, of course. Love this kit and will look for ways to add more around the house.

I bought these for my kitchen, I did not want colored lights in my kitchen. They are easy to set up.

Great concept, but light bulbs were dim and not with the purchase. Disappointing experience.

This starter kit is meant for those that are slowly taking steps in the adoption of a SmartHome. Particularly handy for those that use virtual assistants like Siri or Amazon Echo (and soon enough for those that have pre-ordered Google Home). It is particularly handy when getting ready to go to bed or trying to maintain a tight electrical bill budget.

Love the concept but difficult to program and the Up-Date changed one of my settings.
