After moving the hub and lights all over the house- I could only get 2 of 3 lights to work reliably. The hub itself is hard to place- it requires a wired connection but can't be close to a wifi router (interference). Something better hopefully comes along.

If you want white lite then this is the pack for you

I love the HUE products, but I will say if I could go back and buy a starter bundle again I would move up to the white ambiance or color bulbs. But if you are looking to get an idea of the HUE capabilities, this product is just enough to get you hooked.

The lights are nice. Programming is relatively easy

It works as advertised, but i decided to go with GE switches that work with SmartThings and Amazon Alexa - In the long run its cheaper to replace one switch that controls 8 -10 light bulbs vs replacing 8-10 lightbulbs with smart bulbs.

The product works. The app is amazing. The set up take 2 minutes. Drawback is the lights must be within 30’ of device and the device is limited to where your internet modem is plus the distance you run your cat5 cable.

Surprise.....The kit/hub w/ 2 bulbs was cheaper than a single hub. ? OK. But, I can e the bulb to work with iPhone, but not Amazon For as written in the instructions. This is not to say that someone else might not have success.

This was my first purchase of philips hue white lights. I have had to reset my hub and few times and reset routines due to lights unexpectedly Turing off. I have other brands of white lights and never had an issue like that.

It took a while to finally get all the lights connected on my phone then tried to program them to my wife's phone and not all lights would program to her phone. It was a pain.

The product works great, however I gave it a average rating because the base unit can only be plugged into the router. i wish the base unit can be set anywhere in the house and be independent of the router.

I love it when it works, but if the wifi gets disconnected i have to reset it up, i have not been able to get it to work with my google home yet which is one the main reasons i purchased it.

Not a bad product. I was unable to change the names of each. I returned and it was still on my phone and could not remove it from the Apple app.

Bought these for my Mom. I had to install since she couldnt figure it out. Couldnt get to work with phone. Finally worked through tablet. Even then not sure how I did it. Confusing!
