Overrated it would not work with my mobile application.

This is a great starter kit option for getting 2 soft warm light bulbs that fit in any standard 60w lamp. It even includes the hub and set up for a breeze using the app. And it works really well with my Harmony hub/remote too!

These are great if you have an echo ! Works as advertised . Turns lights on to command and you can even do it from your phone !

Very easy to install and get started with. Worth the money. I can use the Hue app, siri, or my Alexa to control.

The set-up was quick and fairly straight forward. The app could use some work as it is not very intuitive to create programs to automatically turn lights on and off.

Having tried the LIFX, Ilumi, and Hue systems, it's safe to say that the Hus system is by far the most consistent. It's easy to add bulbs and accessories, and there is almost never any lag between what my phone screen says and what my lights do. Great system.

Bought a starter kit plus 8 more bulbs for a rainy holiday weekend project. I've been wanting for a long time. The setup was seamless and much shorter than I anticipated. Siri controls work very well. I will be adding even more.

Careful, once you start buying Philips Hue smart lights you are going to want all of your lights to be Hue lights. After buying this we bought two Hue Blooms, a light strip, and several more white and color changing hue lights.

Very excited with the idea to control lights with smartphone and voice command via Amazon Echo. Got this start kit. Bad news started right away, Hue app crashes on my Samsung phone, not all the time, but quite often, and never know when it will crash next time. Went back to Best Buy, WITHIN 14 days of purchase, told that this is not returnable after it is opened. Called Philips customer service, the support person is even worse, claiming the crash of app is not Philips issue and they can not do anything other than suggesting to use my 9.7 inches iPad. The main reason for me to get this sucker is to be able to control the lights while I am away and I don't always bring the large iPad with me. Explained this to Philips support person, and he even accused me for willing to return because I simply don't like it. REALLY Philips? this is how you treat your customer? Now I have a product sitting there that I cannot really use the way it is designed for. So, be very careful before you get this product.

I got this as a security item for my home so when my wife drives up to the house at night the house lights up. This product works great and is very easy to set up. I plan on adding additional lights soon.

A good starter kit for your smart home easy way to start with the lights

I love that you can control lights with voice commands, I don't like the fact that the lights randomly dim down or turn off on their own, for no reason. It's like they are possessed. It's not often enough for me to warrant a return or phone call.

It can be easily installed and set up with iPhone or iPad. Certainly, I love the magical voice control with Siri.
