This is a great starter item to get started playing with smart home technology. Hook up was fairly easy, all items worked as expected. Would definitely recommend to a friend.

Very easy to set up and use. Nice to be able to control lights with Google home mini.

I bought these lights- the starter kit and two additional lights for when we would be gone on vacation. I set them up the night before and they worked perfectly. Our neighbors told us rooms in the house lit up and shut off randomly in the evening. I will be buying more!

If you are looking for a super simple way to start into home automation this is it. You can be up and running in a matter of minutes. This integrates nicely with Google Home.

This starter kit was very easy to install. It was a simple plug and play. The LED lighting really lights up the room. The only issue is the bulbs occasionally lose connection to the hub. I haven't trouble shot it yet but if I can fix that issue this will be an easy 5 star.

The place I just moved into makes you cross the kitchen to get to an interior light switch, which isn't great at night. I connected the Hue to my Echo and simply tell Alexa to turn on the lights. The white bulbs provide excellent, quality light that is very comfortable. This really does work best with a voice system as the app is garbage. The app won't let you put the same bulb in 2 different groups, but Echo does. I have a bulb in the main area and one in a bedroom and can control them together or independently through Echo but not the Hue app. I will be adding a bulb to the second bedroom now that I know how handy Hue is.

I had 3 1200 lumen in the kitchen lights and they were great. But I decided to go with smart bulbs to work them with phone app and also work them with Amazon Echo "Alexa". And they work great, every now and then they dont turn on with the echo but it happens seldom. The dimming is very nice. App work good on apple phone. The only thing I would say they are not very bright might need 2 or more per fixture. Mine are in fixture with glass dome on it. Maybe if they were out in the open they would be brighter but they work great. After having these 1 week I went and bought the color changing ones and moved these to a lamp and doorway light.

Simple setup, works perfect with Alexa, I bought this to use with the Alexa app to control lights in the house while on vacation. It's so easy we use it everyday.

These work great, easy to control from yourAmazon echo or from your iPhone/iPad with the Apple Home Kit. Buy additional bulbs to extend the system to different rooms.

My husband installed this in minutes. They work perfectly with our Google Home. Just say a command through Google or adjust them from your phone. EASY!

My only complaint is that the connection is lost frequently and usually when you need it most

I purchased the A19 starter kit, along with three single bulbs to outfit my great room ceiling fan fixture. In addition to this, I bought three B30 white and ambiance bulbs. After installing the app on my Apple iPhone, only two of the A19 bulbs were detected. I had to perform a software/hardware update, after which all bulbs were detected and controllable by the app. Everything was fairly straightforward and simple to install. The only difficulty or problem that I encountered was setting the iPhone up to remotely control the lights via the Phillip's My Hue web site. I was unable to log in to the site from the phone, although logging in from a Mac using the same username/password was successful. Pairing to my Amazon Alexa was simple and works pretty well. You can ask Alexa to turn the lights on or off as well as setting the lights to various colors or dimmer settings. Pretty cool.

Highly recommend these lights. So easy to use and works amazing with my iPhone. I bought two for the living room and can't wait to get more for the rest of the apartment.

The bulbs do not sync with the base unit at setup time, leaving you to read a very small serial number and hand enter it. One bulb was defective out of the box, So we had 3 examples that required manual set up. I love the concept, and the integration with our Amazon Alexa makes the product awesome in spite of the clunky set up.

Set up the Hue gateway and linked to an Echo Dot to get voice controlled lights. Great for dimming lights when watching TV

I have then set up with Alexa and HomeKit and they both work great. It’s nice to just say turn off kitchen lights and they are off without having to get up.

So far this a great system and a good way to get your toes wet into the world of home automation. Having your lamps and lights dim on command is really awesome!

Great value, not much more than just the bridge. So worth the extra bucks for the bulbs as well. Got it be Able to use the hue strip lighting.
