Picked this up and it works just like it says. Easy setup and usage

Changed my view on home automation. Now when I enter my home Ladened with packages since I have this running through they Alexa and have the app programmed when I'm within a block from home my lights come on or I can do it by voice commands.

Love being able turn to my lights on and off from outside the house.

The lights are pretty cool and exactly what I was looking for. I am able to seamlessly control my lights in my home via my phone. The Hue app needs some more function and user friendliness. Going forward, I would only buy the colored light option.

I purchased these light bulbs to work with Alexa. Once you download the app and connect the hub you can easily turn the lights on and off through your phone or through Alexa. One of the things I really like about the Phillips light bulbs is it enable you to turn your lights on and off remotely. I was working in another state and through the app on my phone I was able to turn the lights on at my home. It gives you control vs using a timer that is limited. You can turn them on and off through out your home which avoids predictability.

A great solution for smart dimmable bulbs in areas as home theater, dining room, bedroom - also works very well with Alexa.

Works great with the google home. You can only turn on white lights with the google home. But the app works great to change colors and to dim.

This is my first Philips Hue purchase. I downloaded the hue app on my iPhone. Just plugged into my ceiling lamps with power turned on. And set it up to control the lights on off dimmer etc. It’s Great because I didn’t have to install electric wall dimmers in my ceiling fan lights or lamps. After this purchase I bought the hue white and color bulbs to get colors in our bedroom for different moods. And then...I bought an Echo and set it up to control all my Hue lights by talking to Alexa! I love this modern technology at 73.

I purchased this starter kit based on the advice of a Best Buy sales rep, who was very knowledgeable about smart home devices. He said it contained everything required to get started -- two bulbs and the hub required for wireless connectivity -- and he was spot on. Hooking everything up and getting everything connected is easy and takes about 30 minutes. Read the instructions and you can't go wrong. And yes; ALEXA can control the devices in the Phillips HUE family of devices. Great stuff.

The Philips Hue is a very effective an robust system that puts the power of remote operations of your home's lighting at your finger tips. It is not just a remote control that allows the a simple on or off operation of bulbs. The system is much more capable. It can be used to schedule events and lighting intensity and has many more applications. The Hue interface could use an overhaul to make it more user friendly but is still functional. Hue has exceeded my expectations. I will certainly continue to use and expand its footprint throughout my home.

This is a great product. You can control the lights with your phone and you can set up a schedule for when you want specific lights to turn on and off. I would of given it 5 stars but the app still needs some adjustments.

It’s easier to use if you have an apple product than a android

Once set up it’s convenient to have the ability to have Alexa turn your lights on or off. The lights them selves are nice and dim well with Alexa. The color is a nice warm white, similar to how incandescent bulbs used to be. Note: when naming the lights, make sure you pronounce the name of the light exactly how it appears. Sean = Seen so I had to name Sean’s Room “Shaun’s room” so Alexa would recognize that device. I don’t think the light bulbs have anything to do with this issue though. Over all set up was pretty easy.

Setting up the Hue system was very easy however there are no steps provided to advise of tips and tricks using the app. I would love to be able to control the lights away from home but it appears you must be near your bridge.

Easy to set up, had it working in minutes. The sync with Amazon Echo was easy and has worked wonderfully. I will be adding more bulbs for sure.

This is great product. You can use the hue app to set up routines. Have the lights turn on at certain times or use your location on the app to turn on the lights when you arrive home. Was skeptical before buying but glad I did.
