This is pretty cool to control your lights from your smart device or Amazon Echo. Plus, love it for when I'm traveling but want to change up light patterns.

I like to try out new technology and when doing research on these, thought they seemed pretty cool, so I purchased the starter kit and an Amazon Alexa, so that I could turn on my lights with my voice. I love the dimming feature, which is something we didn't have previously. I haven't had a chance to figure out all the settings, but I did think that I was going to be able to turn on my lights when I was away from home and that is not the case. I believe you can set them to turn on at a specific time, but I have not played with that yet.

I’ve been lookyat the Hue lights for a while but did not want to buy the other piece separately, but when I saw this kit I finally tried it. Love love love I can tell Alexa to turn out the light. It was easy to set up, just screw the bulbs in, download the Hue app, plug in the other piece to your cable box and your off and running.

I was told I wouldn't need to purchase a bridge cause I bought the new version of the echo. They are sadly mistaken. But it works really well and I like the bridge, I can use my phone to control lights also. Makes set-up much easier with bridge than without. I still would recommend this product. I had to buy this after I bought just the lights. As a side note the bulbs in this kit work just fine as a regular light bulbs and they are led. Much cheaper than regular led bulbs.

Its easy to set up and easy to use and that is what I like about it!

Having guests always required wifi passwords and/ or downloading apps to use lights in guest rooms. Using Google and Phillips HUE makes it possible to just walk into a bedroom and ask to turn the lights on or off. Nice and easy. Very convenient. Works perfectly. Solves a problem nicely.

Works as it should. It's my first step in building the home of tomorrow. I have two bulbs that work off one switch, but since I've purchased this kit and I use my phone to operate the lights I can operate the bulbs independently instead of both on at the same time. Easy to use easy to setup. It's as easy as screwing in a bulb and downloading an app to your phone.

This is a great kit to start out with. The the only problem is I want to keep buying smart home items. I had also bought the Bloom and bought a couple more smart bulbs for my kids room. I want to change more bulbs but it will take time. Works great with my Amazon Echo and Amazon Dot.

This is truly an incredible product. Simply plug in the hub, connect it to your WiFi, screw in some bulbs and set them up in the easy to use app and you're good to go. Combine it with an Amazon Echo and it's truly awesome. I love telling Alexa to turn the lights on and off. I'm sure it's equally impressive with whatever smart home product you use.

I bought Hue light bulbs several years ago and they still work just fine. These were purchased as replacements when needed. The lights work with my Alexa set up and it is very easy to use the phone app to dim the lights. It is even easier to just tell Alexa to lower the light brightness.

Purchased the starter kit to make my home more automated. So far so good, even though I recently started having trouble keeping the lights on after the alarm time (I probably need to correct my settings). Would recommend this product.

Bought this after receiving amazon echo for Christmas. We changed the lights on our night stand and connected echo. We also downloaded their application and created lighting scenes. Very easy to use your smartphone or voice to change the lighting. Went back to Best Buy and purchased 6 more lights for the family and living room. Also added another echo.

Absolutely love these. The setup is so so simple. I'm trying to slowly incorporate them into every light in my house. So far I've got 6 and I love being able to dim them, or set a particular mood. You can even save scenes where most are dimmed but 1 or more bulbs at full luminosity (like going to bed l, but having the lamp by the bed on for reading).

I picked up this starter kit to get into the world of home automation. Pairing the lights with my Google Home was super easy. Shortly after, I picked up a couple of the colored flood lights.... Now I want even more. Let the addiction begin. Haha. Solid product, and would definitely recommend to anyone interested in turning their home into a "smart home"
