Best buy staff helped me to select a starter kit for my smart home lighting. In addition to the starter kit, I added an additional Echo Dot and an additional light bulb. Wow! What an impact these purchases have made. I can't wait to install the next smart device...

Being able to control my lights by voice is amazing, it may not seem like a big deal but once you come home with a handful of groceries and can't see, it is really convenient to just voice command them on. You can even say "Let their be light" if that's your thing =D

I am working on replacing all my lights in my house with smart lights. I love that I can set up a light in my carport to turn on when it detects that I am coming home after sunset. I have this paired with Google Home so that I can turn on and off the lights with my voice.

This is excellent for those locations where you have a fixed daily routine to turn on and off at certain times of the day. We use it for the outside porch, and has worked great. We tried them for a living room location, and it is a hassle to reach for the cell phone to turn the light on and off.

Bestbuy pickup service is good as always. The bulbs are durable, still work like a champ after2 years. Sometimes the response time is delayed but i suspect that could be my internet. Fully dimmable bulbs without any extra work, great item.

I really enjoy using the Philips Hue. It is easy to use and set up. Great value for the price.

Great technology but the hub is nonsense. I think that they should make set up much easier.

I bought this as an experiment. After just one day I went back Best Buy and bought lights to my whole house. Now all lights in my house are smart. I can control it using Amazon Echo (Alexa), Google Home, iOS, and Android. The feature that I most like is the option to use iOS Home Kit to create automation. What does that mean? When I come home (or a member of my family) the external lights turn on (only after the sunset), and turn off automatically after 5 minutes. Depending on the person arriving, other lights will be turned on. For example, when I arrive the lights on my bedroom turn on, only if my wife is not in the house. As you can see, there is a lot of settings that you can set to make your life more secure. We are so used to this, that when I travel, I miss the option to just ask Alexa to turn off the lights so I don't need to stand up, go to the living room and turn off that light that I forgot.

I bought the starter set plus an individual bulb. The Hue app is easy to use and the setup was simple. I do wish I had purchased the switch too and I might still. It takes some getting used to controlling the light through the app or Dot. One feature I would love to see them add is the ability to set the brightness the light turns on at every time. Currently it turns onto max brightness unless it is part of a program.

Very nice once I got educated on how to set up my smart home, I am enjoying the periphery.

Purchased this mainly because it works with Sleep cycle app on my phone, it theoretically wakes you up during light sleep and turn up on the light gradually. Works great for me!

I got this to control the lights in my bedroom. When I'm laying down watching TV, I get comfortable and tend to doze off. Forgetting the lights. Now I just tell Alexa to turn them off, roll over and I'm out like the lights

I love them. They are very responsive with google home mini. I extremely recommend them.

I now own 6 of these Hue white bulbs. They work great for my purposes, which is mostly scheduling when they are to be on or off. The initial setup was easy and adding each additional is a piece of cake. The app provided by Philips could use some additional scheduling tools, though.

Use them in a system integrating with Amazon's Alexa. Everything, including dimming, works perfectly.

I purchased the Hue Hub to try out some of the new home automation. The installation is pretty easy and the hub works well. I added lights in two rooms and now I can turn them on and off with my phone. This is a great way to try out home automation if you are interested. I also purchased a wireless dimmer switch that can dim bulbs and turn on and off the lights. You can place the dimmer switch any place .

very happy with this starter kit. very easy to set up and use, i am able to turn the lights on and off with the app on my phone. also i have attached them to my Alexa/amazon account and they are controlable wirelessly when not at home. i will be buying more bulbs very soon

I love my Hue lights! I use them often and can control them from anywhere. They are a good deterrent when you are away from home. You can set up routines and have them come on or turn off at specific times.

I wish i would have purchased this product sooner it does everything i wanted it to do
