This is a good way to start. You get the starter kit with white bulbs. White bulbs are great for those areas that will never need the color bulbs. They dim to a nite lite or as bright as a room bulb. The hub will allow color bulbs to be used for future purchases.

I love these bulbs because they are easy to install and to connect to my wi-fi. They also save me tons in money when my electric bill arrives. Ditch the old fluorescent blubs and get hi tech with a smart house. You'll be glad you did.

this is a great way to start the upgrade to a smart home as it provides the necessary tools for a set up without a huge expense. Installation is super easy and it was very quick to connect to my Apple devices and Google home.

The Hue lights are perfect for automating your house lights. It is easy to set up and use. I use the system to control my front porch lights. No more worrying about coming home in the dark. These are better than the light sensors on outdoor lights.

The Hue bridge was simple to set up and installing the bulbs was no different than a normal bulb. Lights can be controlled via my phone or voice (Google Home) and it's way more convenient to control and automate lights with switches in weird places.

The bulbs are great! A little pricey but I think they are worth the money.

Easy to install and easy to use. Now when I leave the house I can check the Phillips Hue light app and make sure my lights are turned off. I can also set these lights to a schedule when I wake up, go to bed, leave the house, and come home.

So far we have enjoyed the lights. It is nice to be able to dim the lights without having to use a dimmer switch. The kids are constantly leaving the lights on at the other end of the house, so we are able to cut them off without have to walk over there.

The philips hue lightbulbs are a fantastic way to easily turn your home into a smart lighting living space. The hub easily connected to my home wifi and the bulbs were all found easily through the app. Highly recommend this product!

Good product, fairly easy to set up. Works well, plan to buy more of the candle lights. Only down side is that the bulbs are more expensive than other brands, but Philips had the type /function of bulbs I wanted.

This is a nice starter kit , kind of pricey . I do feel like the price should go down on this , but it does a good job , you are able to adjust it from your phone , it is bright , works with a bridge which is included

I was apprehensive at first, but have gotten used to the Hue system. I have read about the complaints regarding the Hue app that controls them. I will be honest, if you have a simple automation, then this works perfectly.

I love this product. I love how you can set schedules on when for the lights to turn on and off and control from my phone. Also I love that you can buy a motion sensor for the house makes it easy for night time.

Bulbs work well and the bridge allows for voice control. Easy set up.

They work really well and there are a lot of possibilities. I was looking between 2 different solutions and decided on the Philips due to the large variety of bulbs. I am not sure I will need all of them now but it is nice to know they are there. The bridge works fine but there are certainly models that don't require it. The upside is it can help control everything through 1 app. Also, I wanted the additional wireless support b/c the wifi in my house loses strength easily. The only challenge was setting them up b/c not all of the bulbs would find the wifi right away. I installed them in a fixture in the same room first then it all started coming together. I am looking forward to adding more lights as my budget allows. :-)

This is a great start up to get control of your house lighting remotely. I like the way that I am able to change the amount of light I want in the room in the evening. I like that I can control when the light should turn on and off when I am away.

The lights work great, and the hub port was very easy to install and setup on my network. The light bulbs were quickly detected and the app was also easy to use. I really like this starter kit, and I will definitely be adding more lights soon!

Easy to set up on both Axlea and Google! My son convinced me to use so I didn’t come into a dark house at night after work. The app makes it easy to use when you are away to turn on and off different lights in your home.

Have these in my bedroom. Able to use voice control over Siri on my iPhone and Alexa on my echo in my house to control the brightness, which light or room of lights I want on. Also have third party app to control them when not connected on wifi.

Not only did we buy this kit for ourselves but it the bulbs worked so well that we bought 2 more as gifts for our adult children. This bulbs work easily with Amazon Echos and we now turn on lights by audio commands.
