I am a fan of Hue bulbs. I have them in several rooms. You can use unlimited colors for great mood lighting, also each bulb can be a different color. It lets you also adjust how bright you want them as well. They are a great purchase if you want to update the appearance of your room. You can block access to them from outside the home if you like. They also have timer settings. Buy them you will like them.

Seriously the best gift for my parents and easiest way to make there home “smart” i set it up in about 10 minutes and that includes the app download time. The convenience to tell google what to do with the lights is just unmatched

It goes without saying that Hue is the industry leader in smart bulbs for good reason. Incredibly easy setup, a wealth of options on their ecosystem, and plenty of third party options if you’re feeling fancy. Practically every bulb in our house is a Hue bulb and the sheer automation is second to none. Over three to maybe four years of using Hue products, we have had only a single bulb go bad.

They're expensive but very nice. The bridge made adding extra bulbs super easy. Hue might be overpriced but their day-to-day experience justifies the price

Hue lights are the best system around. Pricey, but easy to set up and use, no random disconnects like cheaper products, and the lighting looks phenomenal.

You need to have a little bit of patience if these don't hook up to your WiFi immediately. Yes, these will screw right into your standard lamps. Once you have one hue bridge installed, you don't need more (up to about 50 bulbs they claim). Download the Hue app. It has some quirks, but it works. I like the switch too. I have 2 lights connected with the switch in living room. Some times is just easier to use the switch.

Super easy to set up and they work great. The lighting possibilities are endless. I love that the light switch is magnetic, so you can mount it on any stud in the wall without doing any drilling, cutting, or adhesive. You’ll also be able to control the lights via the app and with Alexa. I use all three control methods depending on what’s easiest at that given moment. Worth the money.

Got these on sale over the holidays. Generation 3 of the Hue bulbs. This generation finally got the color green correct! This 3 pack was worth it. Although I didn't need the hub, that switch is pretty cool. Programming the bulbs with my existing hub took a moment but once they were up and running, it was fantastic!

It's amazing how different light sources can change the experience in our home. I got these on sale and I'm also considering buy the table lamps and light-strips. The app is amazing, easy to use and setup the Hue Bridge and each bulb. Always start bying the Starter Kit to get the Hue Bridge for a good price. If you think decor is outdated, buy these lights and change your mind!

Overall, we really love this set. We have it paired with our Alexa device, and it's really upgraded our home experience. Being able to change colors is a really nice touch. I'm glad we went with the color version. The only thing is I wish we would have gotten a fourth bulb versus the switcher as we never use it since we have it connected to Alexa, and turn it off and on with voice commands.

Their best bright easy to set up... Responsive I have 18 total now and still going

If you are going to have the Philips Hue in your home then you absolutely have to have this kit to make it both easier and have complete control over all their profiles they have in their settings.

They work as described, very easy to set up. Really liked how the included switch is magnetic. I give four stars because of the price.

I used to use a LIFX bulb with the intent of buying more for the house but they are more expensive per bulb than hue. The high start up cost may be a turn away but hue makes up for it by allowing other zigbee based bulbs to integrate with their ecosystem. Cheaper bulbs such as IKEAs Tradfri bulbs allow you to put smart lighting in your bathroom without breaking the bank.

Bought and setup within one hour of ordering. The set is easy to setup and connects by linking up with your wifi router. The Hue App has a few bugs such as when trying to rename individual lights but when all of it comes together it is an experience which would be hard to replicate with other devices.

Easy to set up and control with the hue app. Lighting effects created a warm atmosphere for Christmas and other holiday seasons and gives the impression that I have put new colors on the wall when I want a change.
