Works great and easy to connect. Love the different color options.

This is a great product, but a little expensive. We love the color-changing aspect, but not sure it is worth the extra cost compared to the regular Philips smart bulbs.

Been wanting to make my home a smart home. These lights make any event I've had fun. The different colors are awesome. When I'm watching movies, it feels like I'm in a theater. Plus, I can program the lights to turn on and off automatically when I leave or return home. A great way to save energy and liven up the house!

I bought this as a Christmas gift for my girlfriend and her room and she absolutely loves it, setup doesnt take too long but requires a spare ethernet port on your router. Aside from that only drawback its very easy and fun to use with the wireless remote its very convenient and once connected to our google home mini its even better and easier to use.

I’ve been waiting to add more bulbs to my Philips Hue ecosystem; I previously had six bulbs and a Hue Go in my townhouse. I had previously purchased a three build starter kit back in 2016, then added three more single bulbs when they were priced under $30 at Best Buy on Black Friday 2017. I was hoping for a repeat of this sale in 2018, but no dice. Well this Holiday Season, Best Buy Member Pricing had this set, which includes three color bulbs, a dimmer switch, and a Hue hub for $99.99. Though I didn’t need a second hub, this price for three bulbs and a dimmer switch was a no brainer. I was mostly interested in the bulbs and thought the dimmer switch was a no brainer, but I have to say the dimmer switch is super useful. I have it installed in my master bedroom (it comes with adhesive, so no drilling was necessary). Previously I would have issues with my wife turning off the wall switch that controlled the outlet my two bulbs were plugged in to, so I couldn’t control them with the Hue app. Don’t have that problem anymore. And while my wife would be loathe to admit it, the dimmer switch (which is removable from the wall plate) has been super useful. I should have bought a second set while it was priced at $99.99!!!

I'm enjoying the smart lights in my nursery, so far. Setup was quick and easy, although it is slightly annoying to have the hub to be connected my my router, just because of the valuable space it takes up. The mobile app controls are easy to use and the app is well-polished and bug-free, from my experience so far. Overall, probably the safest bet if you want smart lighting in your home and if the lowest purchase price isn't your determining factor.

I own quite a few of these now. It's a real shame that the individual color bulbs are more expensive to buy separately than just waiting for a sale on the starter kits. I have a bunch of hubs that I need to either sell or recycle. It's such a waste and a money grab. A starter kit (3 bulbs, dimmer switch & hub) costs $189.99. A single bulb costs $49.99. HOWEVER, the single bulbs never go on sale, just the starter kits do. When they go on sale, they generally cost anywhere from $99 to $129. Even at $129, the starter kit nets you 3 bulbs for $43.33 each. Still waaaay too expensive but significantly less than buying individual bulbs. Prices are generally the same across ALL sellers so there's not much point in shopping around. Just wait for a sale and grab a bunch. Keep in mind, a lot of home fixtures have 2-3 bulbs each, so the cost adds up quickly if you want to outfit your entire house. All of that aside, it's a great product, I have never had issues with the hardware or the platform and it's a lot of fun. I just really wish Hue would realize they would be selling a LOT more units if the cost for entry wasn't so high.

I wish I had bought these sooner!! These bulbs make life much easier. Set up is fairly simple. The scenes that I can create are nice. We set up timers for the lights when we aren’t home and I can control them from work if need to make adjustments. They make life a little more convenient.

This is a game changer! It’s very responsive and works with HomeKit without issues. I thought the dimmer switch was not needed at first but it has come in very handy and glad I went with this starter kit. Worth the price. I will continue to add to my collection.

I love my Hue Lights! Set up was a breeze. On the Hue app there a plenty of scenes for different lighting/color changes. I have not had any issues with my lights or any burn outs. Very happy with purchase…I plan on buying a 4 extra bulb for another lamp!!!

The best Purchase i have ever made for my room. The app, the dimmer, the bulbs, everything. It is all amazing. Look, to whoever is reading this, I know they are expensive but trust me. You will fall in love with these things and you will never want to go back to regular light bulbs. TRUST.

This kit includes everything necessary to dive into the world of Hue lighting. The included hub allows you to control your lights (color, brightness) from inside or away from your home. You can set up the lights in a single room or throughout your home. You can create "rooms" or "zones" using the app, allowing you to control some or all of the lights. The app also has other features such as creating "routines" where the lights can be controlled based on the time of day. The switch can be programmed to control certain lights (or all of them) and you can set it up to show specific colors or "scenes". Full disclosure: I bought this kit on sale to add to my existing hue environment (great price for extra bulbs and a switch). A few caveats: 1. For normal use, the lights could be brighter. I tend to have at least two per room. 2. The bulbs might not fit in your existing lamp harp (the metal casing around the bulb that attaches the lamp to the shade). This is because the bulbs are not shaped like traditional light bulbs. I needed to order a larger harp for two of my lamps. 3. Hue products can be highly addicting - don't say I didn't warn you!

I love these bulbs. Functional and you can design to complement you lighting needs. However, the sticker price can be a distraction. You shouldn’t have to save up to afford light bulbs.

Well all of the Hue products are very pricey. This starter kit is the best value offered as you get ambiance bulbs, dimmer, and the doohickey that connects to the modem. The App is amazing and you can customize what you want the lights to do from app to dimmer. Wish I had an extra set of hands so I could give these 4 thumbs up.

These lights are so easy to integrate with other products. For me I liked that I could easily sync ICue from Corsair with my Phillips Hub to make lighting themes go along with the computer!
