These bulbs are amazing and can be combined to work with Alexa and you can just say make the bedroom lights purple or make the bedroom lights 30% power and they change instantly very high tech and fun.

I have these Lights all around my room and house. Has timer features, changes many different colors, and this kit came with a dimmer switch thats magnetic and 3M strip so it can be stuck literally anywhere. & I love that they connect to my TV for surround lighting ambiance.

I wouldn’t buy anything but Philips hue. Let’s drain on the Internet and the reliability is on point.

Still trying to figure out the app but good lights

So far, so good. I was originally using the smart bulbs by Google, and though they worked pretty well for a few years, recently, they started losing connectivity and it was getting really frustrating to have to reboot my Google minis all the time. Finally broke down and paid the money for the Philips hue lights. So far, no connectivity issues and lights are bright and easy to use with my Google voice. Set up was easy. I would recommend watching a YouTube video to explain The installation process. If you're savvy with your smartphone, set up should take no longer than 15 minutes. To use with voice functions, do the full setup with The Phillips app first and then go in and add it to your Alexa or Google. You get what you pay for.

I look forward to always getting some new Philips hue lights. My house looks great with them now, and I have fun adding more to the set. This specific one came with the hub, which I already had, but I like that it included a remote. The lights set up easy through the app with no issue, and they work with HomeKit! The only problem I would say most people have an issue with is the price. For me, I think they could be a little cheaper, but I still enjoy them.

The starter kit really should be on the list for every couple having a baby. These lights are so great! They're easy to set up right out of the box as well. I wanted these because we were having our second child and I wanted to be able to I have very dimmable lighting and different color tones to check on her when she was sleeping. Also to not disturb my husband would be trying to sleep to go to work. Sadly he only got a week hone with us. I like the super bright white light for awake time diaper changes and such. Would like to dim the other lights really low & a warmer tone when watching TV and still trying to eat or pay attention to our toddler. We've used these seamlessly with Alexa. I love the convenience of trying to gather all the things for bedtime and picking up so many things and I don't have to worry about turning off lights around the house. Just say Alexa turn off all lights and done. Or Alexa dim all lights if I'm just trying to get everyone to sleep. It's a beautiful thing the modern age has to offer for the struggling parent. Another plus is when the day is gloomy out the bright white light is so close to sunlight it just makes your mood a little brighter. My three-year-old son loves to watch his PJ masks with the green light on. We have 4 dimmer switches around the house for different lights and one dimmer knob for living room fan light. Waiting for this to go on sale again I got them for 129.99 and sometimes they sell for 119.99. I purchased this one starter kit and then purchased the white once from Best buy as well. The color ones are more expensive but they really are the way to go to have super control of your color tones. even for the whites you get so much more range from warm to bright white & dim to brightest. My friend who convinced me to get them uses them very happily and seamlessly with Google and as I said I use Alexa.

Way overpriced fun. I can't justify this product any other way that just say they're fun. The Hue brand lights are always a good quality product with fairly durable materials and respectable technology. In the smart lighting market they continue to live up to their reputation. The light is responsive and fast, which isn't always common when using something that isn't hosted locally/on your own network. The app is intuitive and easy to use. Once the bridge is adopted then adding lights is a breeze. Adding the bridge can be a challenge depending on how your home network is setup, but I'd say the vast majority of home users won't have an issue. The colors are vibrant and bright and the app itself has some really cool features. The bulbs themselves are nothing special. They're just bulbs. It's what's inside that makes them different. They maintain a stronger connection to your bridge than most at a greater distance thanks to the Zigbee connectivity. The remote/switch is pretty typical for what you find in most starter kits, but what I like about this one is the built in magnets that make placing it somewhere a bit more convenient than others. You just one more option that what you find elsewhere. Just be prepared to take a small loan to purchase this just like all other Hue products

Snagged these on sale for $99. Wow, it really transformed my home. I didn’t realize how much I enjoyed color until I set these up. Now I’m addicted, and look to set these bulbs any place I can. Pairs perfect with Alexa smart homes, but can also be controlled through the app. Not cheap tho, Wait for them to go on sale and buy more over time. The starter packs seem to be the best bang for your buck. Plenty of accessories and upgrades available.

I picked these up on Black Friday for a decent enough price. I’m glad I did! They’re bright, great vibrant colors, and best of all, they just WORK. I wasn’t a big fan of having a hub at first (another thing with flashing lights to plug in), but it allows for the lights to just simply work immediately upon setup, unlike other brands that seem to require constant fiddling and reboot to keep working.
