Excellent kit to start off with

After buying this pack, I went back and purchased a Hue light strip for the back of the TV and am happy with the result. You can go from a bright "read" scene for studying/working to a more relaxed "savannah sunset" scene to unwind. Perhaps I'm falling victim to Philips' marketing but I do feel that the lighting in a room can have a considerable effect on how that room is used and feels.

The concept of the Hue Bridge was a little confusing/frustrating at first...as it must remain connected via cable to your router and has a limit of 50 bulbs/devices...but it works well. Setup is simple...and the "works with" features are great (HomeKit, Echo/Alexa, Google Assistant are all seamless). Very happy with the purchase...and I am expanding the Hue usage in my home.
