I’m glad I finally decided to purchase these lights. I’ve been looking into them for quite awhile now but was hesitant due to price. The one missing star is due to the depth (or volume) of products/items/accessories needed to bring out the TRUE & FULL RANGE of the HUE world of lighting ability. So as a starting kit, if you can grab a good price for this, go for it. Just be prepared for the beginning of the endless amounts of possibilities you WON'T be able to use...until you have obtained many more HUE products, of course! Still fun and enjoyable product! If you can resist the temptation to go further down the rabbit hole! LOL. Enjoy.

Best Smart Lightbulb

I’ve tried a lot of different brands and by far the Hue bulbs are the best, I’ve had no problems with losing connection and the response is almost instantaneous from when I turn them on of off using my phone or Google assistant.

I started with only 1 light and ended up buying 11 in total. Kids love to listen to music and watch movies with the lights sync function. Having open api also adds a layer of fun for me :) Would recommend buying (if you can spend the money - this are definitely more for entertainment value then as lights)
