I have never had any issues with any lights, but this particular item had three items defective that had to be replaced under warranty. I did not test all the products when I bought them so when I got around to using them, I realized the light/dimmer switch would not connect to hue. It would connect and drop. Philips replaced this after several emails troubleshooting and photos, etc. Took a few weeks. Then I had the same issue with two bulbs that would not connect. Again called Philips and this time they were suspicious because of my previous claim. So had to troubleshoot and send many photos to prove the bulb was defective. It was a pain. At the end of the day I got both replaced. By the way- they also shipped one of the replacement bulbs to another person so that delayed getting bulb by another week or so while they investigated what happened. If you call customer service after 9:15 am you will not get through or they will hang up on you. Sounds like they are in another country. So hue is great when it works, if you have problems be ready for headaches.

Owned for 2 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Lights are great, but you need to download an app that is a nightmare to learn how to navigate and then you also need to buy a little box that hooks to the back of your tv and then you need to buy a bridge connected that connects the lights to the little box. The lights are about 50$ a piece when I got them and they told me that’s all I needed, the box was 250 and the bridge was 150.
