Not Ready for Prime Time

Unfortunately, more often than not the system is buggy, particularly if you’re trying to use it with the Google Home app. First we tried the Phillips Hue lights without the bridge—very buggy. We figured we would get the bridge and everything would be sunshine and buttercups. Nope. Sometimes they would work, sometimes not so much. Lights couldn’t be found, then magically reappeared—truly exasperating! My wife was asking me why the lights would be intermittently unavailable…no idea. Maybe someday, maybe, Phillips Hue will get the kinks worked out and these things will be great. For now my light switches just work better.
